"It is a lovely property with a kind and attentive staff. The pool is nice, peaceful, and refreshing with a view of the port. Katapola is a 15 minute walk uphill from the port. A car is advisable to see the beautiful ocean views from the mountain highways. Rooms were cozy; AC was serviceable. The breakfast was very good; no other meals are served"

I have happy memories of lounging by the hotel's pool. The hotel is walking distance to everything of touristic interest. The breakfast buffet is great and the staff is warm and welcoming. "Amazing stay in Amorgos. From the moment we arrived, the hotel exemplified the Greek tradition of xenia, of hospitality. We were warmly greeted and had a wonderful time. The breakfasts are homemade including homemade yogurt, grapes from the hotel’s vineyard, etc. Hotel Minoa is perfectly located in Katapola, with the trails to ancient Minoa direclty behind the hotel and the water in front. We walked 30 minutes to the perfect Maltezi beach on arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better hotel for our first (but not last!) stay on this beautiful island."
