"The management wasn't friendly, i told the miss manager the light in the room wasn't working properly ,she said we will check it out. I think she should offer proper conform to the customers. Also i was asking if i could leaves the car , until 12 . I could walk visit around come get back car . She wouldn't not backed off the policy. If you want a customer come back to your hotel train your staff be friendly able adjusted for small request. "

"The staff is very nice and helpful. The room is a bit small comparing to what it looks during booking. The air con takes time to cool the room. Overall is satisfactory."

"Location was great, in a shopping mall. Room size works fine for a solo traveller. Room was also clean and amenities was provided on a self service basis at the reception. Only slight issue was it was slightly difficult to find the hotel, and it requires 2 change of lifts to reach the room "

"The place was perfect! The space was big, the bed was big and the toilet was big! We felt really comfortable and made the mistake of staying inside for far too long when Kumamoto has so much to offer. It was also walkable to the castle and the shopping arcade. There was even a massage chair in our room! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will stay in other Daiwa hotels in our future stay."

"My room on the street-facing side had a great view of Shimabara Castle and the ocean. It was a very spacious room, with a huge refrigerator. There was a microwave in the hall by the elevator. There was also a tatami space as well as western-style furniture. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from the castle and the bukeyashiki. There was also a top sheet on the bed as well as a comforter. It was also very affordable. On the negative side, there was a constant gurgling sound coming from the A/C...

"Nice and clean. Convenient to walk to the shops. Other Daiwa is better with a combini directly beneath it. Shower screen could have at least been wiped down. Looks like years of scum has been left there. No on-site parking available and upon arrival no where to park to drop off bags. Need to inform staff prior to remove bollard blocking parking space but otherwise would not have known. Hotel has an offer with a parking station 250m down the road. Far to walk if you have bags and spots are TIGHT....
