"This place is a gem for our ski trip. Cosy lodge, our room was spacious, very comfortable beds, beautiful views and daily breakfast was a perfect start to the day. Location was perfect for us and just a few minutes away from the main ski resorts via a free shuttle. Has great amenities and comfortable facilities. "Manager and staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious. Traditional sleeping mat was very comfortable and I probably got my best night's sleep while on this trip. Walls are a little thin, but all guests were quiet and respectful of others. Baths looked great but unfortunately didn't get to use them. With size 15 feet I wouldn't expect any of the hotel slippers to fit. We had excellent meals within a 5 minute walk. Really enjoyed Yamanouchi!"
