"I came in to Kamloops on flight AC8062. Arrival of 10:30 into Kamloops. I had confirmation for shuttle. Our luggage took 30 minutes to get to conveyor belt. The shuttle left without me. A WOMAN ALONE. I called the hotel and they told me the driver called me, a lie as my phone was in my hand and he did not call. Apparently the hotel has a contract with Air Canada for their staff and will not wait more than 5 minutes. I found that out in the morning. The manager on duty in the evening did call me a cab, which was a rigmarole in itself but not the hotel fault. I was not impressed to be sitting at the airport alone for 30 minutes. The hotel needs to inform customers of this policy with Air Canada and make arrangements for a taxi to be waiting if hotel customers have checked baggage on this flight. It is the last flight into Kamloops.
The staff were great, the room was great. The coffee weak! I will stay here again if on that flight, but will absolutely reinforce pick up by taxi immediately! "
