Wonderful views over river Kwai and down to the bridge. Spectacular sunset over the river! Peppers restaurant was a great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner with many options to choose from.

Loved this hotel. Has probably best sunset views in town over the River Kwai with a happy hour timed to enjoy view. Bridge over river Kwai is 5 minute walk from hotel. Food and restaurant was excellent. Rooms were really nice although some might find them a little on the small side but convenience and sunset views can't be beaten.

A very special place

From the moment we arrived at U Inchantree hotel until the moment we left, we were looked after in the most hospitable manner. The Staff all had the most beautiful smiles. The hotel sits beside the River Kwai where you will witness spectacular sunsets. We were so glad we chose this hotel for our visit to Kanchanaburi.

Good stay

I had a pleasant stay at U Inchantree. This is a typical 3-star hotel, good surrounding with lots of trees. Breakfast offering was nice, and staff provide great services.

The best sunset view on the River Kwai! Absolutely stunning views and walkable resort! The staff is fantastic and friendly! Quick and easy check in, restaurant on the riverfront! Near the train track, temples, restaurants, and very close to all the attractions. Lovely staff! Very helpful staff!

Relaxing stay with good breakfast

Nice and relaxing stay. The rooms are small but it has anything you need and it is clean. Free parking at the hotel, the gym is small but it does the job and the pool is good as well. The breakfast is really good! 6 minutes Walking distance from the River Kwai Bridge. Only feedback I have was that the water in the shower is either steaming hot or super cold and the AC fan would not change to the lower mode. Overall great stay and amazing service of staff!

Beautifully set by River Kwai. Gardens create peaceful surrounds. Very close to River Kwai Bridge, Jeath War Museum, local markets and great Amazon Cafe coffee (3 min walk). Staff are professional, friendly and accommodating. Close to Elephant World. They picked us up from hotel. We will come again!

This property is conveniently located less than 8 minutes walk from the River Khwae Bridge. We were able to see and walk the bridge during the day and at night. Entire staff at the hotel has been very welcoming during our entire stay. Breakfast buffet has a wide range of choices of local and western cuisines, we thought it is better some of the 5 star hotels in Bangkok in terms of tastes and presentation. Highly recommend this property to people visiting the Kanchanaburi area.

The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk to Bridge Over River Kwai and conveniently 10 minutes walk to Guan Lin Temple, just on the other side of the Bridge. For sunset lovers, this hotel has the best spot to see the sunsets, absolutely amazing. The room was nice and spacious and the staff were wonderful. The hotel restaurant could use some improvements as the food was okay. Since the area does not have any decent restaurants, the hotel restaurant should look into ways to improve. However, we would stay here if we return to Kanchanaburi.

River Kwai marvel.

With an amazing location, minutes from the “River Kwai” station, on the high bank of the river, this hotel has been built to respect some ancient trees and with careful attention to feng shui throughout. In addition the food was excellent and the wine list showed a good appreciation, although most of the reds should be cellared for a few more years. Overall, a tremendous stay and there is much more to see and to do in and around Kanchanaburi than we realized, so we’ll be back.

Excellent hotel but with some issues

Overall we really liked this hotel. Its location is perfect - in a quiet area right on the river, with beautiful views. There are some good restaurants in and near the hotel but you do need transportation to get to the night market or to other central areas of town. The service was excellent, but there were a few issues that made our stay less-than-perfect: WiFi in the room was not stable, with slow connection and frequent disconnections. The shower often ran out of hot water, so you had to wait for a minute or two before continuing. And the bed was very squeaky, waking you up with every slight move in bed.
