I would highly recommend renting a car as it is about an hour outside of Kanchanaburi city so having your own transport gives you more flexibility "

"Lovely place. The site is spectacular. The staff is friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit. The only downside is that the resort is a four hour plus drive from Bangkok. They say it’s two hours but it’s four hours. Also the food is not great. It’s still a great place."
