Grand Sarai Nafplio

"We booked a 3 night stay in Grand Sarai as part of a Greece mainland touring holiday. Nafplio is a UNESCO site and Grand Sarai is at the heart of it, dating from c.1700. The interior has been tastefully renovated, while the exterior is a picture postcard view. Our bedroom was comfortable and well furnished with a high-spec bathroom. The breakfast area was limited with a good choice of options. There are large numbers of shops and restaurants within a short walk of the hotel. The only downside is access to the hotel is via 20 external steps from street level. There is no car access to the vicinity and luggage needs to be dragged around 400m from the nearest parking area which is difficult to get into at peak times. No porter service is available from the hotel."

"The hotel is located 5 minutes drive from Nafplion. The property is well maintained and very clean. The staff is polite and helpful and the rooms are quite large and comfortable. The pool is large and very clean. The only negative is that we do not let you bring in food or accept delivery from local food establishments which is not a good policy. We plan to come back with our entire family next year,"

"We loved our stay here! The staff was super helpful, the room was fabulous with the upper level room with the private balcony. Make sure to ask the staff where to park so you dont block anything. I highly recommend this place. It was very enjoyable!"

"Everything was very clean, The location is perfect as you can walk to almost any where from the hotel. An added plus, the hotel is a "green" hotel and recycles. A/C works great! Parking can be found 200-300 hundred meters away."

"Truly a magical jewel 15 minutes outside of Nafplio’s Old Town. This small hotel is set up in the mountain, surrounded by olive and lemon trees. A beautiful setting with beautiful staff to accommodate your every need. This is the second year in a row my wife and I have come here. It will likely be an annual tradition."

"Older room and clean. Stairs to get to check in. Room had low ceilings just had to be careful to not bump your head. Great patio for after sunset wine and snacks. Only stayed one night and then on to Hydra. Easy access to ferry port."
