"I booked this hotel on a whim after reading the reviews and wanting to pamper myself on my vacation to India. I was traveling there with another friend of mine. "This place was just ok for a hotel in India. It’s so far up a mountain that access to outside food and drivers are slim, so you are at the hotel’s mercy for pretty much anything. The balcony was nice and so was the view. No ac in this hotel, and no mosquito nets. There was a really old plug in fan in the room though and it didn’t really fit well with the rest of the room. "This hotel is excellent in terms or several things. First its location. Its very near to some of the tourist attractions. "I really loved the hotel. We had a very good stay and I would love to come back. The room was very comfortable and the furniture modern and stylish. I also really appreciated the design and the architecture of the hotel and of course the location! There is also a list of activities that are offered which I thought was a lovely idea to further engaged guests in the overall experience. Unfortunately, because of heavy rain, most of the activities were canceled when we were there. The only details I think needs addressing is the lighting in the bathroom which is too dim, especially by the vanity. It’s not possible to put make up on or to shave adequately in such dim light. I believe this should be addressed to make your hotel near perfect!! Thank you 😊 "

"Heaven!! Beautiful views and lots of space to walk around the area. Staff were super nice and the blue ‘pidgeon wings’ tea is sooo nice I had to have more. This was the welcome drink! It quite far to get to from cochi but I would definitely love to come back here. "

"The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The location was perfect however our stay was not great! The fan in the room was wobbly and shaking really bad even on speed 1 with a loud noise. When we shared our concern with the staff he came and he checked for himself and he giggled when we said that we are scared the fan will fall on us while sleeping. He said he will come back and never did, we never got a new room or didn’t even come back to fix the fan. The shower before we used it it was super slippery, looks like they never cleaned the previous oils that could have come from people getting massages done and it was slippery. There was also no floor Matt for after shower use which made the floors more slippery after being wet. The breakfast was good at this place however the service was extremely slow during breakfast. "

"Brilliant place. Brilliant staff. Brilliant food. It’s a luxury property. A bit tough to get to but once you get there.. you’ll never have enough of the view. The best thing you can do is wake up early for the sunrise. Do not miss it at any cost."
