"Beautiful onsen hotel. The only problem was their name says they are in Oijo but the are actually 50 kilometers away and the taxi ride wa 10,000 yen. You need to take a local train to Hiji and a taxi from there for 2000 yen. "

"It was a wonderful stay. The outdoor bath was amazing and not too too hot so you could enjoy it and relax. The staff were helpful and the rooms made up every day. "Though the Japanese-style rooms are a bit dated and the bathrooms are snug, the hotel excels where it matters. The rooms are very clean with fresh bedding, and the breakfast—especially the seafood and udon—is high quality. ​The standout features are definitely the grand bath and the complimentary evening lounge. The outdoor hot spring is beautifully landscaped with rocks and offers a peaceful atmosphere. Following a soak with free drinks and snacks in the lounge was the perfect way to end the night. A unique and relaxing experience that I would definitely repeat!"

"The staff is very nice and the location is lovely. I got a free gift (a small pouch) when I checked in. My room was spacious and had a kotatsu which I really appreciated because it got suddenly cold outside. I also was able to enjoy two really beautiful and relaxing outdoor private baths! Breakfast had an amazing view and was delicious. They even gave me a hot pack when I checked out because it was cold outside. I really like the area and I’ll definitely visit again. "
