Islander on the Beach is sitting on 6 acres of beautifully manicured gardens with swaying palms trees and cooling trade winds. This ocean front resort features a gorgeous pool and hot tub and is home to the local Sand Bar.

This ground floor studio has 2 full size beds, a fully stocked kitchenette with small fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and tea kettle (no cooktop). Beautiful property

We loved this location and property. The condo was only steps from the pool which was so fun. The condo was a little cramped with two small kids and two adults.

Great stay!

Great stay with everything we needed including beach chairs/snorkel gear. We loved that it is ground level and the porch was lovely and near but not too close to the pool. Also close to Lava Lava Beach club which was delicious! Only item to note is there was a weird smell that we could not get rid of throughout our stay…

Amazing Experience

The location/resort is gorgeous, felt magical our entire stay. The place was clean and well stocked, amenities were great, only thing we noticed missing was a luggage rack but we made do just fine. We hope to be back again, a perfect experience.

Honeymoon in Kauai

This place was close to the airport which made it nice for a late arrival time. It was clean and felt comfortable. The location was great to catch a sunrise. The entry way was beautiful because of all the trees and flowers. It wasn’t noisy at all.

Very nice accommodation

Great location. The studio was clean, and had all that we needed. The beds were comfortable. The room had rather high humidity level, so we would suggest that the owner adds a dehumidifier for both the room and the bathroom to help with this issue. It would also help to have a little better overhead lighting in the room. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay, and we would book this studio again if the price is right for us.

Wonderful spot!

The property was clean and provided a lot of amenities for us to use. We loved the location to view the sunset from the beach each morning and the pool right out the back door to enjoy an evening swim. There were shops just outside the buildings. When I asked the manager a question she was quick to answer. 10/10 would return again!

Kauai vacation

Property is beautiful, many amenities close by. Beds could be replaced, knives sharpened and something to set suitcases on would be nice. A little surprised by beach, no maintenance, but that didn’t keep us from enjoying the beauty of this island and the people here. I would highly recommend it

Great place!

The property was well stocked and had a high chair and pack n play for our little one. Small but we knew that from the start and made it work! Right next to the pool, which is nice with a little one and the beach below the property is great!

Great stay

The studio is in a great Location, not only the resort is beautiful, in front of the beach, with some shops and restaurants around but also Wailua is in the center of the island, easy to go to any direction. The studio is very confortable and charming. I think it can have some small improvements, but it was a very good stay. (The hair driyer was not workig, and a kettle for tea drinkers would be nice)

Beautiful stay in Kapaa

My friend and I had a great stay in Kapaa. The beds were very comfortable. Loved the lanai opened into the garden. Just a quick walk to the pool or pathway by the ocean. Close to restaurants and shops. Only issue we were not informed about is needing a parking pass from the front desk so we got a warning on our car the first night. Easily rectified and we had no issue the rest of our stay.

It was nice to be near amenities without being in a resort, especially since we live in Hawaii anyway. The little pool was just enough for the kiddo and when she was done with that, the beach was right there for her to play in the sand. If you are looking for a place that splits the distance between the attractions in Waimea and Hanalei, this would be my choice.

Convenient location

Easy access to north and south shore. Nice shopping center across the parking lot. Beach access, but pretty windy so waves were big but thats due to the time of year. Nice walkway along the beach. Great location to watch the sunrise. Pool is not heated. There was a musty kind of smell we couldnt get rid of. Toaster oven might need replacing. Took forever to cook frozen lumpia. All the essentials were there (plates, cups, silverwear, etc.). Overall nice convenient place. Little outdated (furntiure shows the wear and tear). A little crammed if there are 4 adults in your party since its a studio but doable. Would stay here again.

However, I reached out to management for issues with roaches, the latch on the patio door was broken and no horizontal bar for security, lock on bathroom door didn't work, women's hair in the bathroom (we were all males). The light in the pool was broken when we got there and was never fixed the entire stay. The only thing that was fixed was a slow drain. If the unit was maintained as it should, it would be great. Also, the shrubbery in front blocks the view. As a suggestion, they should have the plants or the tree, but not both. Lots of potential though.
