"We were greeted by Barbara several hours before the official check-in and were allowed to store our lugage in the room. Our room appeared newly renovated with a really nice ambience (room 1 at the Ground Level). The kitchenette was Well equipped and the bathroom were great as Well. We ordered breakfast to be delivered next morning. And what a treat! Bled breakfast delivered a basket with loads of local specialities like yoghurt, cheese, saugases and bread - the best breakfast we have ever had....

For example, the bed linens seemed worn and old, the bathroom (shower) smelled moldy, the trash wasn't taken out in the kitchen, and the bathroom towels smelled bad. "We had a great stay at Triglav Bled. The old hotel is beautiful and has a commanding view of Lake Bled. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was really good. The room was spacious and very clean and well maintained. It was a great experience! Two things to be aware of though: 1) To get to Lake Bled is a bit of a hike down (and then back up) a fairly steep path, so if you are not in decent shape that could be an issue. 2) There is no food at the hotel after lunch time. The restaurant is closed for dinner, and the option is to drive to Bled to find a restaurant. Neither of these was an issue for us but worth mentioning. I will definitely stay at Triglav Bled if I visit again!"
