"Great hotel in an excellent location. Good room, nice pool area. Most of the staff were just okay… the lady on reception didn’t appear happy on check in. However the breakfast staff were amazing and very helpful. Good breakfast. Overall a good hotel and would stay again. Parking is on the street and can be a challenge."

"My family loved staying at Dimitri’s villa in Plitra. The home is exactly as shown if not better in person. This home has so much Greek and architectural character. From the Well to all the archways and wood details! We were in awe! And the view of the sea from almost every window can’t be beat! We much appreciated the amenities left for us including toiletries, a variety of coffees, fresh fruit and a bottle of wine! The kitchen is well equipped if you plan on cooking. We only did basic cooking but was nice that it was there if we needed. Beach towels are provided and we found some beach toys as well which our son used. I would not hesitate to book this property again! Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"I was a little stressed about the no on-site parking, and that is a big challenge, but it's not a fault of the hotel. I suggest dropping your stuff off up as far as your car can go (hopefully you have someone to stay with it) then walking the 300 m or so to the hotel. You can pay them to do this but it's really just some ups and downs, so just wear footwear that isn't too slippery, arrive early (apparently last check in is at 8:30 pm but they accommodated us at 10:30 pm - but be sure to have a cell flash light to get there if you arrive after sundown as the last 50 m is in the dark otherwise). Otherwise, the rooms are beautiful with great AC and it's on the furthest east side of the castle so you will have access to amazing sunrises in the morning. The breakfast is home cooked and made with love. We had a great time and really enjoyed the location."

"Ellen the hotel manager was fantastic made us feel very welcome and at home. The beds very very comfortable and the view from our room was spectacular. Just a one minute walk to a great beach and restaurant. Would definitely stay again."
