"Wonderful old hotel with modern spa, pool, and sauna facilities. Our Superior Room was a good size with a view over the courtyard and down the Main Street of Karlovy Vary. Staff were very helpful - English was well understood, as was Czech, Russian and Polish - and the buffet breakfast was plentiful with ample choice. Valet parking was easy. But mainly, the hotel is stately and the lobbies, corridors, restaurants and bars are bars are beautifully decorated and well maintained. "

"The hotel is beautiful and the staff were very nice !we enjoyed the spa and the room, but We had one problem in the room The AC wasn’t working and they sent us somebody to fix it but he couldn’t. When we ask for another room the lady said it was full and her solution to the AC problem was to open the window. We were very disappointed and couldn’t sleep because of the noise outside. Beautiful hotel but no AC."

This place is family owned and has a local feel. From the moment we entered, the staff cared enough to ask if we had dinner reservations for Christmas dinner and when we didn’t, assisted us on his own in calling around to find an option for us and making us a reservation.
