"The staff were ok. The location is great, it is close to the zoo, Biertheimer Allee which is a very nice little park. We made a reservation during the summer, our room had a very small AC, which was not even make the room just 2 or 3 degrees cooler. Very hot, difficult to fall sleep. The minibar was not working, even the water bottle they put in the minibar was hot! Breakfast was very good but still in a warm room, where also flies were flying around. Other than that everything was fine!"

"This is a great basic hotel that knows its customer and serves them well. Very, very comfortable with friendly staff it is ideal to use as a base to explore the area. It is walkable to the station and an easy walk to the city centre although there are trams available nearby too. We loved the honesty bar approach when reception was unstaffed and there are some great food options nearby. Sokrates around the corner is exceptional. "
