The hotel is small, beautiful and quite historical. The location is great. The area needs attention and support. Even though it is winter, there is a sewage smell coming from the river.

Katerina sarayı definitely exceeds expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the beautiful city of Kars. An iconic hotel thoughtfully decorated A perfect balance of comfort and hospitality! All of the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and at home. I don’t remember the name of each one of them but they were all professional and nice always ready to help and assist. Miss Melisa, Ebru and Mr Erhan were extremely helpful with everything! Oh not to forget the breakfast was so delicious! What truly sets Katerina Sarayi apart for me is Niko (the cat) and the outstanding service! I may have repeatedly emphasized on the service and hospitality but having stayed in many different hotels around the world I’ve never came across such a beautiful team! Looking forward to go back! Heartfelt Thank you to everyone!

Gorgeous and friendly staff welcomed us on arrival, the rooms are a very comfortable size, super clean, easily worked for 3 adults. The whole place is beautifully furnished and presented so it's such an enjoyable place to stay. The hotel is an easy walk along the river into the busy part of town with pkenty of food options and shopping. Outside is a beautiful seating area on the river bank with tea, coffee, drinks, even some wines. The only negative is out of the control of the hotel, but there was a strong waste smell from the river. There are obviously some major civic works underway to fix the leaks and treat the water.

Otel ilk başta şehir merkezine uzak gibi gözüküyor ama merkezi. Çalışanlarlar güler yüzlü. Özellikle Melisa Hanıma teşekkür ederiz bizi her seferinde sabırla dinledi anlattı ve tarif etti.😊

Öncelikle en önemlisi çalışan personeller çok güleryüzlü ve ilgiliydi . Her konuda yardımcı olup çok özenli davrandılar. Hepsine çok teşekkür ediyorum. Odalar gerçekten saray odası gibi çok güzel ve temizdi. Nevresimlerin temizliği mis deterjan kokusundan bile belli oluyordu. İhtiyacınız olacabilecek her şey odalarda mevcuttu ayrıca.Kahvaltısı ayrıca çok lezzetli ve çok fazla çeşitliydi. Otelin bahçesi ve çevresi çok keyifliydi. Konum olarak da çok güzel bir yerdeydi. Çok keyif aldım. Tereddütsüz tercih edilir.

Çok çok memnun kaldım. Rezervasyon yaparken havalimanından transferle ilgili yazmıştım. Hemen geri aradılar. Ani ve Çıldır için de ulaşım desteği verdiler, beraber çalıştıkları taksi var ve çok yardımcı oldu Ulaş bey. Otelde Sultan Hanım ve Melisa Hanım da çok yardımcılardı ve ismini öğrenemediğim kişiler de çok saygılı ve yardımcılardı kahvaltı servisinde. Otelin yeri çok güzel, merkezi, çayın hemen yanında ve su sesini duymak çok güzel (gerçi pencereyi kapatınca çok duyulmuyor). Kahvaltı da oldukça iyiydi, çok çeşit vardı ve herşey çok güzeldi. Genel olarak çok tavsiye ederim. Eylül başında seyahat ettik ve kışın yeniden gelmek isterim.

Kahvaltı ve derenin kokusu dışında sıkıntılı durum yoktu. Kahvaltıda sunulanların hepsi 2. sınıf ticari marketlerde satılan ürünlerdi. Yansıtılan otel kalitesine uygun gıda çeşitleri değildi ve kete dışında geleneksel hiç bir yöre gıdası sunulmadı. Lezzet yoktu ve ürün kalitesi çok zayıftı.
