We had an amazing room located close to the river (room 3) The hotel really gave us the relaxing feeling we were looking for. If they could improve one thing, I would suggest to use more dimmed lights.

Inconsistent, but very very charming

Really enjoyed our stay here. It was such a characterful hotel and our room was gorgeous with beautiful views over the Chobe river from the balcony. The game drives and river cruise were really good and a reasonable price. I would say, the service was very up and down, sometimes outstanding, at other times quite cold and disorganised. The same is true of the game drives, one was incredible, the other was quite mediocre. Food too, sometimes was exceptional (like the BBQ at the poolside bar), at other times the buffet was chaotic and poorly managed (like the stir fry nights, where the food was really good, but the queue chaotic and badly thought through). But to be honest, for all of this, this just added to the charm and authenticity of this hotel. At times the inconsistency just made us laugh. For instance, ordering at the bar would take more than 2 hours for food to come; even if it was just a pizza! And one staff member asked us to buy her something from the shop, and seemed genuinely hurt and disappointed when we didn’t get her a gift. I wouldn’t stay here if you want total; polished luxury. But if you want character, authenticity, and a beautiful riverside lodge, I would easily recommend it and I would definitely stay again hence my 5 star review. I really had a soft spot for this hotel for all its eccentricities.

Comfortable!

The staff is friendly, courteous and very comfortable. The villa type accommodations are also clean and cozy. I would definitely use this hotel again.

We had no electricity in a room and I was calling 4 times and went to reception for maintenance assistance and was late because of it for safari. Also got poisoned on a breakfast with minced ostrich. The staff is not liable at all.

Loved the pool, the view, the location, the design the staff. The shop was reasonable for prices surprisingly. Food was also good . I enjoyed the buffet for dinner and breakfast - lots of choices. Also loved the poolside menu and cocktails Room service was available - did not try. Upstairs commissioners restaurant was closed as hotel not full.The room was luxurious.only negative :Private boat company in nextdoor plot played loud music one night after it docked as music blared while staff took ages to clean it . This is not the fault of the hotel as sent someone to tell them. Will be back

Das Personal war höflich aber nicht gerade freundlich und hilfsbereit. WIFI das ist horror, einfach nur schrecklich. In jeder günstigen Unterkunft war es massiv besser. Ich musste mehrmals in den Biergarten damit ich Mails schreiben konnte. Unwürdig für eine solch teure Lodge.

Falta mantenimiento. La tv no funcionaba, la bañera, la ducha tenía moho, los cristales sucios y de las almohadas ni hablamos. Personal antipático y sin ganas de ayudar. Necesita mantenimiento y una reforma urgente. Hay opciones mucho mejores.

Wonderful family weekend in Kasane.

Really pleased with the refurbishment and the hotel is in great condition now. Rooms were excellent for families with a sofa bed in the living room then main bedroom.Staff were really friendly throughout and game drives/river cruises great value and professionally ran.

ランドリーを使いましたが、ホテルのミスで下着とTシャツの色落ちがありました。従業員が誤りにきて、料金はいらないとのこと。 仕方ないと思って、了承しました。ところが他のTシャツも色落ちがある。リビングストンへのトランスファーを併設のツアー会社に依頼。55USドルとのことで頼んだが、請求はナミビアドルでしかも100USドルに近い金額。サファリは良かっただけに非常に残念

快適な滞在

部屋には蚊帳があり、夕方には蚊帳を張って貰えます。ただ虫や蚊はほぼいないので、快適に過ごせます。併設のサファリではドライバーはフレンドリーで、多くの動物を見せようと頑張ってくれます。オススメです

Shocking!!!

Shocking! Checked out after one night. Service was disgusting. Staff were rude and as for the food - cannot believe you pay to eat that! Will not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is absolutely shocking! Very very disappointed.

An excellent hotel

The hotel was excellent, the staff polite, helpful and smiling all the time. The did their best to help and make everyone fell at home. The chef did his best and the food was very tasty and plentiful with a great variety for our six day of stay. Every day the menu was different and relly good. We diid two game drives every day (which was included in the price). Our driver Mr. Stanley was the best. He was experienced and tried his best to find lions and leopards (which we saw more than twice, sth that was rare). He is one of the best safari drivers that I have meet in the twelve years that i do game drives (not only in Botswana but in Africa in general). The hotel was very clean (the room was cleaned and taken care of twice daily, something that you don;t find even in 5 stars hotels). The breakfast very good and plentiful.The wifi was good. It is my second stay in this hotel and I hope to be able to stay again this year.

Bel établissement mais nous n'y retournerons pas

C'est un bel établissement avec du personnel accueillant et sympathique. Vu splendide sur la rivière Chobe qui permet de profiter d'un magnifique coucher de soleil. Toutefois, nous avons été très déçus. Un groupe d'une trentaine de personnes se comportait mal au restaurant et étaient ivres. Ils ont fait beaucoup de bruit et nous ont incommodés. Ils manquaient de respect au personnel de l'hôtel. Nous avons demandé à parler au manager qui est venu, mais qui nous a fait comprendre que c'était bien aussi pour l'établissement si les clients consommaient. Il n'a donc pas fait cesser le vacarme. Il a souhaité nous offrir une bouteille de vin en dédommagement, ce que nous avons refusé.Nous souhaitions juste profiter de ce lieu au calme.

Good, but

the location and and staff service was great, but wifi was sporadic and was cut off many times. mosquito net has a few big holes, and AC was not working properly in living room.( the room was suite.) They need to keep up with the maintenance. Other that, the activity guides were great, and the hotel ambiance is like a jungle with full of nature.
