"Hands down favorite lodge to stay at. Cabins are very nice with a wood burning stove (plenty of wood provided), a porch, and amazing views of the mountain. Restaurant and bar on-site have great food. Path down to the Kenai River. Not far from Kenai National Wildlife Refuge for bear viewing and hiking trails. This was my second stay and it will be an annual trip from Fairbanks for me."

"I booked this hotel for my grandson and his girl while we stayed at the Aspen. After booking our room Hotels.com was out of rooms at the Aspen. I knew they would love the Kenai River Lodge. While right on the road through town, it is also right on the famous fish river Kenai, and has a small bar area on the roof. It is an older rustic lodge and just perfect for my outdoorsy twenty-year-olds. "

"This motel is not luxurious. However, if your are interested in breaking up you trip from Homer to Anchorage and appreciate cleanliness and a comfortable bed, this is your place. It is right on the route in downtown Soldotna - an easy in - out from the highway. You park right in front of your unit. This was important for my husband who uses a walker. There was ample room inside to maneuver his wallker. Checkin and check out was easily done. The front desk service was very personable and helpful. The attached restaurant has very good food!"
