"This was my favorite place I stayed in Türkiye! Cool, clean, beautiful room, extremely attentive staff (the manager Ismail is great) and a breakfast spread I will be thinking of for a long long time. :) It really is as lovely as the pictures. I enjoyed my time here as a solo traveler so much I'm already scheming of coming back someday with my friends. Note that the property is on a steep hill, and while the old market is very close, you need to be in good physical condition to make the trip! There's also a lookout point a very short walk away - Hıdırlık Tepesi, that's absolutely worth a visit. You will definitely need lira in your pocket to enjoy Safranbolu to the fullest - most vendors don't accept card. Gorgeous town and very friendly people."

"A 150-year-old gem! …. Honestly, so glad we stayed here! This Konak is stunning—it’s over 150 years old but kept in perfect historical shape. It feels like a time capsule, but with all the modern safety features you actually need. The place is spotless, the breakfast is a total feast, and the staff are just the loveliest people. Plus, it’s a super easy walk to the center of town, which made exploring a breeze. If you're in the area, definitely book this place!"

"Excellent location in an historic building in the old town with lots of character and a view. Parking was on the street outside but there is also public parking across the street. Unfortunately, after check-in, there was nobody around to tell us the WiFi password."
