"Our stay at Yala Safari Camping was absolutely amazing! The staff greeted us at the meeting point outside the park and organized a private ride to the glamping tents. When we arrived there was a home cooked Sri Lankan lunch waiting for us. Our room was very clean, air conditioned and equipped with everything we could need. It was also beautifully nestled into the jungle with amazing views and surrounded by wildlife. The safari tour was great, our guide was very helpful and made sure we had a...

"The stay was amazing. From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted by the owners of the property who showed exceptional hospitality. The room was really nice and clean with an amazing view of the surroundings. The food was 10/10 with a selection of both local and international options. The owners helped with arranging a jeep for the safari and were ready to help with any other requests. I would highly recommend staying at the property if you’re going for the Yala Jungle Safari. "

The staff goes above and beyond to ensure an unforgettable stay, accommodating a range of experiences, including a half-day safari inside the park and a delightful nature walk around the camp. "Worst Experience – This is Not Even a Hotel This place should not be listed as a hotel. It is located in the middle of nowhere, completely inaccessible by car. We had to walk a long distance on foot, during which we encountered wild animals — an extremely unsafe situation. Upon arrival, we were shocked to find that the entire facility was in a state of severe neglect. Mold was present everywhere — on the walls, ceilings, and even furniture. The conditions were absolutely unacceptable. We...

"First of all, when I went to 'Palugaha pilgrim resort' it was locked. Even the mobile was not reachable. I had booked this thro' Expedia. Fortunately the auto rickshaw driver was knowledgeable about the place so took us to a nearby place. This did not have any name but there was someone to entertain us. He claimed that was the Palugaha resort & also said there was no intimation from Expedia reg my booking. However, he was kind enough to arrange the room for us. After that, everything was fine....
