"I booked this hotel mainly for its airport shuttle. Even though there’s only one to the airport in the morning, they went above and beyond to help and accommodate me. The room was massive and provided absolutely lovely views. I do have tattoos so they had to be covered when entering the bath. The building is old and smells of moisture, which I think comes with running an onsen. Overall, I enjoyed my stay very much. "

"住宿方面非常好，面對湖景，很美，房間亦很整潔。 事前約了酒店人員來接我們，非常友好。但是發電郵給他們，幾天都不回覆，再追問才給回覆。我們其中一人不吃牛肉，在電郵清楚表明，酒店亦回覆接受我的要求，但真正吃東西時，完全沒人知道要我們有特別要求，向老闆娘再說，才再安排，上菜方面，非常慢，吃完所有食物還沒上其餘的菜！連吃完東西的器皿更沒人收拾，很差！食物方面，美味的，但不精緻！很失望！入餐廳更無人招呼！"

"It's seen better days. Quality of the meals was disappointing. Room was spacious and clean but the property in general is tired and needs upgrading. It's a bit on the outskirts of the main part of Yamashiro Onsen but there's a bus stop across the street if you want to get into town. We took it to get to Yamanaka Onsen and to Kakusenkei Gorge."
