I appreciated the improvements to the rooms I stayed in, compared to past trips. This included such things as better lighting, or better shower layout. Location is fairly convenient to access all things in Thamel, and taxis were readily available at the hotel for daytime excursions. Breakfast was abundant, and staff were universally helpful and smiling. Their friendliness certainly enhanced the comfort and joy of my stay. I have stayed here multiple times in past years and would return!

There were upgrades since the last time I stayed, including for the shower and room decors. Staff was particularly kind and helpful, which certainly influences my review. There is no elevator, but staff are accommodating based on patron needs. I appreciated that this hotel is off of one of the main streets and not on it; noise would be much greater on larger streets. Breakfast was ample for my needs.

Very very good hotel! It is clean, the rooms are spacious. It is quiet. There is a hot shower with a movable showerhead. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast is delicious. They also offer travel advice. The view from the rooftop is beautiful. There is also a restaurant across the street. The location is great, close to Thamel. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Nepal, and I will definitely stay here again when I visit Nepal. Thank you to all the staff.

The best thing about this hotel is the people who work here. Some of the most genuine people I’ve met. They really are here to support you and make sure you have a good time. Also great location. Clean rooms. Warm water for showering with good pressure. Beautiful rooftop terrace.

cost-efficency is the best! If you visit Thamel, you must stay here. The staff are very courteous and super friendly. they are the best. The restaurant on the GF has a good street view. I experienced cozy time while having nepal beer in the evening.

EXCELLENT!!

EXCELLENT STAY, 10/10!!! The staff is so nice and location is great! We went to EBC trekking for 12 days and they kept some of our luggages while we were away. We came back after our adventure for our last night in Katmandou and we had an excellent service. We recommend this hotel.

Hotel Friend's Home had excellent service. There is 24 hr check in which is great for international travel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's affordable but they will treat you like you're a 5 star client. Pro-tip if you're sight seeing or need a cab they can hook you up with the best deal!

One of the best reasonable clean hotels.

This is a very cost-effective, family-run hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are kept in immaculate clean condition. Shower also had adequate hot water. Bathrooms and toilets are separated by glass doors. Breakfast is reasonable and adequate. I liked the banana pancakes with plenty of honey. Hundreds of restaurants and stores are conveniently located near the hotel. Durbar Square, the center of tourism, is only a 10-minute walk away while you enjoy a stroll downtown. I will definitely choose the hotel the next time I come to Kathmandu.
