I highly recommend the Kathmandu Suites Hotel. It was not only comfortable but also made me feel like a VIP. The hotel management team was warm, attentive, and helpful, fulfilling all my requests. Their driver picked me up from the airport, which is especially helpful for first-time visitors. The hotel's complimentary breakfast was also quite good; I even saw a person paying for breakfast, even though he wasn’t a guest there. The rooms were well-equipped and larger than those I've stayed in Japan and Korea. The location was also excellent, a five-minute walk to a vibrant and unique shopping district and a twenty-minute walk to the famous Kathmandu Durbar Square.

disappointed stay

The staff are friendly and helpful. however, there was a really big cockroach in my room and i killed it myself, wait quite a time for the staff from hotel to pick up the body. i paid expensive price and just stay for few hours, and still i experience this, i sent messgage to them to tell my disappointment but they never reply, which was really upset.. i do have a photo of the big cockroach but i do not want to show it here to scare people.

This is my favourite Hotel in Kathmandu. Their hospitality and staffs are excellent. House keeping does an excellent job they deserve a raise for their professional work. Room service and house keeping help you like they are your family. Very much happy with their services and will definitely stay in this hotel in future as well.

The restaurant on site is good. Check-in and check-out was very easy. While the location is in Thamel, it is not very convenient to restaurants. They are about a 10 - 15 minute walk away.

Everthing is good here. But kinda dusty outside the hotel when you go out. Due to constuction next door and along the roads. Small roads will get conjested during peak period timing. Improvement on roads outside would be good in the future. All in all, i had a plesant & enjoyable time here.

Lo mejor: -La ubicación en Thamel aunque en una esquina, en una bocacalle de Packnajol. -El hotel es bastante nuevo y moderno. -Personal amable. -Tienen servicio de transfer al aeropuerto (10 dolares por trayecto, más caro que el taxi pero más comodo). -Habitaciones grandes, con vistas al monkey temple y tienen ascensor. Lo peor: -El encargado del hotel intenta colocarte sus excursiones. Comentarios: -El desayuno es algo justo, pero es Asia. -La calle donde está el hotel es de tierra. Pero en Kathmandu eso pasa a menudo. -Wifi gratis

Nice stay in Kathmandu

We had a nice room with balcony over the backyard. Clean and nice room with very comfortable beds. Nice breakfast buffé where you can sit inside or outside. Nice view from the roof terrace and very helpful staff. I would stay again. Just five minutes walk from busy Thamel.

Nice stay. Comfy room with balcony overlooking the mountain. Great and super friendly staff who allowed early check in after we arrived by night bus. Food in the restaurant was awesome. Everyone in the hotel were so pleasant to make you feel welcomed. Location is just a stone throw away from the busy street in Thamel area. It's hard for taxi driver to find the place so we have to prepare own GPS each time for the driver to send us back. I won't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, and would definitely stay there again if I ever pay a second visit.
