"For my wife and me, this trip was a sort of honeymoon since we had just gotten married a month ago. After a year and a half of challenges and a super busy life, we were eager to disconnect from the entire world, relax and recharge at Natura Cottages. I'm happy to say that our experience exceeded our expectations, we couldn't be more satisfied with our stay. The cottage was exactly as pictured, and we instantly fell in love with the place. It’s evident that the owners of Natura Cottages love their properties, as every detail was thoughtfully attended to. Our cottage beautifully combined coziness with traditional Greek style. We especially enjoyed the small private garden where we had breakfast each morning in the shade before heading out to explore a new beach. At night, we returned to a perfect silence, broken only by the sounds of crickets. Yet, we were just a five-minute drive from the town of Makri Gialos, with its seaside bars and restaurants. This part of the island is wonderfully natural and less touristy, perfect if you want to run away from the madness of the modern world! We explored several beaches by car, some recommended by Natura Cottages’ website and others I found through my own research. We were particularly enchanted by Paralia Goudouras, a peaceful spot with crystal-clear water. It has been a very positive experience and we really recommend this cottage!"

"Absolutely stunning villa- everything you need, incredible pool, stunning sea views, path to your very own bit of sea (where luck had we swam with a turtle), a great outdoor bbq and the perfect hosts- friendly, helpful, villa fridge/utility stocked like we’ve never seen before (basics but also lots of soft drinks/ water/ lots of fresh fruits/ salad/ eggs/ beer/ wine, and cleaning provisions) and even a homemade apple pie delivered mid stay. Transfers included which was a private air conditioned vehicle (we hired car with discount from same company and it was also excellent). Area beautiful but you do need a car- spoilt for beaches- sandy and pebbles- very calm bays so safe for children, snorkelling fab, great restaurants to chose from. We did days out including the water park, beach hopping, boat hire and water sports. The perfect villa and hosts- we have had fun and fully recharged! Thank you Stella and mum! "

"What a beautiful retreat! This was such an amazing place with wonderful staff. Everything was gorgeous, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was incredible. Watching the sunset with a glass of wine at dinner was my favorite part of my Greece trip so far. I’m in love with the place and can’t wait to come back. "Sitia is a wonderful town, 2hrs drive east of Heraklion. The villa is really great - very spacious, views are amazing, high up looking over the whole Sitia bay. Lovely pool area, cleaned daily (by a really friendly Ukrainian!). Some lovely beaches but best probably 25-30 min drive east (but worth it). The beaches are much quieter than the other beaches you find the nearer you go to Heraklion. Plenty of shops and markets in Sitia, and all over in smaller surrounding towns also. The people were all so friendly. The views of Crete are amazing just driving east to Palekastro. Some of the smaller roads in land offer the most amazing views and places to see but these roads can at times be more like tracks, so be aware! Host was really helpful - very proactive helping with arrival, welcome and walk through of the Villa. plenty of communication, really good English speaking, and also helped recommend and book restaurant reservations. Accommodated 9 very comfortably. A great villa in a beautiful part of Crete."
