"Pleasant surprise to find a sitting area on both levels. Gives everyone a chance to stretch out. The deer, turkey, ground hog, bunnies and birds were an added plus."

"This is a cute, clean, historic home in Appleton and is walkable to downtown. It's a historic home from 1903, but they've done a good job keeping it up and ensuring it doesn't feel like it's falling apart. We visited in the summer, and the AC was nice and cool. I enjoyed the location, and then I could walk to a coffee shop in the morning. The downside is that, being a 1903 home, the floors, stairs are all incredibly squeaky, and none of the bathroom doors or bedroom doors actually shut. They all...

"Enjoyed the stay!"

"Great place to stay for our team. Centrally located, clean, plenty of parking, responsive host."

"Beautiful property but steps are a major concern and not kid friendlyNeeds more railing on the third level and block off basement steps since they are of no use to visitors. Great yard for play and lovely neighborhood for walks"

"A fabulous property and host was great with communication and checkin/checkout procedures! Highly recommend!!!!"

"The cottage is comfortable. It had everything we needed. The views are outstanding even when it rains!"

"The worst rental I have ever been in. As soon as you walked in our shoes were sticking to the kitchen floor as something had obviously spilled. You couldn't have left the house not knowing this. I contacted the owner immediately and gave him the evening to have it cleaned and nothing. Not even a follow up. As we move through the house it became obvious they do not care about cleanliness nor upkeep. Blinds are either missing from windows or broken and if there are curtains they don't fit the...

"Excellent space for a family gathering "

"Great place to stay. Peaceful and clean."

"Great lake front cottage with nice lot and plenty of parking. Bathrooms and kitchen were recently remodeled and updated. The owners leave lots of personal touch things like coffee grounds or Kuerig-type coffee, creamers, sugar, etc. Well stocked. Clean. Games and books available. Very quiet limited access road. Plenty of restaurants and groceries nearby. Nice dock. Great sunrises over the lake. Loved it!"
