"It was what we expected and wanted. Very very nice and peaceful. Lovely view . The cooking is rustic, but that was okay with us. The only problem was the gate, the code had one more digit than the email had. It was otherwise correct. Luckily, someone came behind us and gave us the right code. We will be recommending the Banana House to our guests who may want to stay on the other side of the island. Mahalo!"

"The home sense is very kind and gracious. It’s an off the beaten path local which is what we were looking for. Our first night we arrived late and Mark gave us food!!! It felt like our home the entire time and the property itself is exactly as described. As a spiritual person I felt very close to Love and God. "I came for a conference and did not want to stay at the hotel ,boy did I make the right choice ! This cottage is absolutely charming and quiet,well stocked with everything you need to have a wonderful time! We cooked outside most nights and enjoyed different beaches every day. Lava Lava Beach club and the Hale bar at the Fairmont were really nice and both close to the water. We will definitely be back ! Thank you for sharing this wonderful property!"

"Nice small cottage. Beach across the road but it is mainly large lava boulders so you need to drive to get to a sandy beach. I did see people work their way through the lava to snorkel."

"Lovely property! Peggy was so sweet and left me some tea and bruschetta in the the room and gave a quick your. I ended up getting sick but it was a great place to recover. They were very responsive and helpful. I enjoyed hanging out in the hammock, the amazing vegetation and the sweet animals! And the grocery store is so very close! Loved my stay here!"

"Staying in the Waipio Valley is a magical experience and Kristi and Sukumar's cottage is the perfect place to do it. We used the small kitchenette to cook meals each night, hiked, did trail runs, walked to the black sand beach and viewed the epic waterfalls. It was incredible and we can't wait to come back."

"We were looking at the Waipio Valley cliffs and ocean right in the bed! The view is better than the Outlook site which is half mile away. The scene is changing all the time, sunshine, hovering clouds, overcast, rain, and rainbow of all kinds, like one coming right out of the valley half mile away while the orchard is sunny and the cliffs under overcast.
