"Smile Hotel is a good standard with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The laneways behind are interesting and fun for Izakaya but Kushiro central city is no longer busy and very run down. "

One thing I was surprised about was having to have to buy a towel or other amenities. The private room at that price I believe should have come with a towel or some other amenities. "It’s about a 15 mins walk to the hotel. The external and internal are fine. But the MOO fish men market is outdated and few stalls open. A good one over night stay for catching a early coach to Lake Akan tomorrow."
