The property was generally as descibed. Comfortable. It had a cottage feel. The yard was large. Not suitable for swimming. Fire pit useful. Kayak had small leak. Overall was good rest for us
Overall very pleased with property location and lakefront view. It met our needs of a 6 adults family stay for 3 nights, lots of space in kitchen and living room and on the deck. BBQ was excellent and the pier helped with fishing, although we didn’t catch anything as the lake was very weedy. The kayak was also used and the fire pit and outdoor chairs was great. The smallest bedroom only had 1 bunk bed which was a challenge for one of the couples. Recommend advertising only for 4 adults with 2 children because of the bunk beds. For 6 adults, it was also a challenge with only one fridge and 1 shower. Having 2 toilets was good. Hot water was always available and AC worked very well throughout as well as wifi. Also used the smart TV. Appreciated the communication on checkin and checkout and response to questions. Also great being only about 10 mins to Balsam Lake Park beach (where you can dump garbage ) and 20 mins to Beaverton stores for emergency supplies. Overall enjoyable experience.
Our family had an awesome time, the kids enjoyed the play area. The kayaks were available for a nice pleasant ride. The family enjoyed the firepit. There were alot of bugs in the night, but we had lost the bug sprays we packed. The managers were responsive as I left my keys at the cottage and they were very pleasant to deal with in attaining them.

Disliked: Listing accuracy
Our stay was okay. It was a very nice house but not very clean. The listing said two and a half bathrooms but there was one and a half, and that was okay, we made it work. They also said there was a pool table, fuse ball and kayaks. Only kayaks. I did pay more expecting to have a pool table and fuse ball table. All of the reviews are saying 8 to 10 for cleanliness and I don’t know why, no way it’s that clean. The king and queen mattresses were terrible. Just by looking you could see the sagging in the middle of both. My back is sore and my son could not stop complaining about his sore back and neck. He had to sleep on the floor the last two nights. The barbecue was very dirty. The fridge was up all the way and couldn’t get cold enough to keep my milk from going bad. The only good thing was the kayaks and being out of the city with my family.
