"We arrived on a Thursday evening around 7:30 pm. The check in line was extremely long. We tried to sign up with their app that’s at the back of the line entrance. It said you could check in with your phone to bypass the line but it does not work. We ended up waiting about 30 minutes to get checked in. The room was large and roomy. When I went to wash my hands they have a refillable soap dispenser (yuck)! Plus it was empty. The conditioner in the shower had the gooey residue coming out of the spout. This made me question the cleanliness. The trash can in the room had not been emptied. The casino is super smokey (And we smoke). I will state the staff was extremely friendly and courteous. This was our first stay here. In the future we will stay at The Nugget or The Horseshoe. We’ve had great experiences at both of those hotels. We were disappointed with L’Auberge. "

"The room was clean and staff was friendly. The room we were in was non-smoking but the bathroom smelled of smoke. Breakfast was okay. The area was okay but there were truck stops near by which made me little uncomfortable. Overall price I paid was about right for the night stay."

"Only tv is in the bedroom. There is a separate living room but no tv. Breakfast was very poor, food was cold"

"This property was littered with meth heads truck drivers and sex workers. Expedia should not even allow this roach motel to be on their site. "

"Ramona was awesome and made our visit very memorable and was very helpful and courteous throughout the visit, however the young lady who works the 7-3 shift was not so helpful and friendly. I told her we needed towels being that we ran out and to her it didn’t seem like a sense of urgency. When we came back someone had entered our room, removed the towels and didn’t place any more so I mentioned to her about the towel situation and stated that our trash wasn’t removed or bed made up. She proceeded to say someone else will come back to clean etc. but that didn’t make sense.We didn’t even stay our full time because it was giving us we were a bother to her so we packed up, left and went back home. My husband did also say the lady from the late night shift 11-7pm was very friendly as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay whilst we were here and visiting the Casinos but we won’t be visiting again."

"Lake Charles is my hometown. We were in town for a family wedding and opted for a rental rather than a hotel for comfort and privacy. This townhome is located downtown close to restaurants and nightlife. It offers privacy and a 2 car carport. We were thrilled to be able to walk to one of our favorite restaurants for dinner. There is a view of the lake from both the front and back doors. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip home. "
