"The Hamakua was amazing. It was everything you could want in a boutique hotel. The grounds are beautiful and immaculately kept. The every room has an incredible view of gardens overlooking the Pacific. The staff, Belle and Sabrina were the best,
If you are there for one of Chef Joseph’s meals don’t miss it!"
"Rooms were clean and easily accommodated our group of 5 with a full kitchen available. We enjoyed playing the golf course too. This is our 2nd stay and we plan to come again."
Waterfalling Estate is an oceanfront compound on the Big Island unlike any other
10/10 Excellent
"The property is everything advertised and then some. It is beautiful and restful with the waterfall and waves surrounding you every moment. The two things to note are that only 3 bedrooms have A/C and on hot summer days it gets stifling hot, but those days are rare, we had one night like that in our week. The bunk room is not a room but a space that has a curtain that is a makeshift wall. These items should be noted in the property description so that visitors expectations are set correctly. The property and the trip we had was worth every penny and I can't stress enough how little stress I felt at the Waterfalling Estate. We had an amazing week that the 4 families and 17 of us will never forget."
Luxury 4BR Estate with Ocean Views, Pool, Slide & Gourmet Kitchen: Waipio Heaven
10/10 Excellent
"This is THE place to stay if you want ultimate luxury in the seclusion of natural beauty. The views of Waipo Vally are unmatched. Proximate to Honokaa and Wainea, lots of food options exist, and its not far from Kona or Hilo... best of everything! Kids will love the pool as will kids at heart! And there are mysteries to be discovered in the vast collection of books... and the discovery will lead to higher perspectives... loved it! Will be back with the kids one day, but this was the PERFECT place to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Thank you to Noelani and team for such a great property!"
View of Mauna Kea in Gated Community across from Golf Course
10/10 Excellent
"The "View of Mauna Kea ..." was delightful. It is attached to the main house, but very quiet and private with a pleasant view from the sliding glass door. It was roomy and comfortable, and well stocked with nice amenities. Communication was excellent and a washer and dryer are available to use for a fee. We would gladly stay again if we return to Hawaii in the future."
"Bring mosquito repellent. Waterfall was nice. If frog croaking sounds bother you bring ear plugs. I found it peaceful. If fact I found a frog in my room the first morning."
