We had a fantastic time. Couldn’t have asked for better fishing! We loved being out in nature and the proximity to Champlain was perfect.

Wonderfully maintained and clean cabin that is perfect for a family of 4. The lake is fantastic as well and there are so many phenomenal hikes within a short drive.

Third time staying here, and the cabin is always cozy and has plenty of gear to allow you to enjoy the lake. We fish hard here, and always have a great time with the quality of fish and the natural beauty of the lake.

The surrounding properties are rather dire, but the cabin was great. The deck could use some TLC. Dock was not kayak friendly, the nice neighbors allowed us to launch from theirs. Lake is awesome. Quiet and peaceful.

Place was very clean and the location was practically on the lake. Very pleased with the check in process and how accessible everything was. Would love to return here for another short stay.

Second time staying on this property and loved it. Friendly locals, and great fishing on the lake. Being it is a private lake makes it much more peaceful. Hoping to continue making annual yearly visits here.

Thanks to the great communication and pleasant stay, the cabin was cozy, cute and quiet. There was another review that mentioned the water, I did not have any issues with the water in the shower. There was a drinking water machine that was extremely nice! Cabin was clean, and the host is amazing at communication & allowing your family pets! Thank you soo much for allowing us to stay!!

Stayed at this lake property for a weekend with my family. Had plenty of space for all of us, was clean, and had access to the lake which is gorgeous. The neighbors were friendly when my parents when out for a walk down the road. The lack of wifi and phone service forced us to disconnect, which was really nice. If you are looking for a remote, quiet getaway, this is a great place to do so.

Very rustic. Accommodations are as previously reported in other reviews. Unplug and enjoy the outdoors. Communicate with owner prior to arrival otherwise you will have to drive back to main hwy for cell reception.

The cabin is close to the water. It is located in a scenic and quiet location perfect for fishing, kayaking and swimming. The neighbors are very friendly. The property managers responded and fixed an issue with the hot water in less than. An hour after we reached out. Kitchen and bathroom were clean and well stocked. Short drive from many great hiking, floating and beach destinations. Poke-o-moonshine trail, ausable chasm and ausable point were some favorites, Rulf’s farm outside of town has excellent produce and variety. Overall an excellent stay.

A very comfortable cabin. Excellent base for Adirondack hiking and exploring. Multiple kayaks and a canoe are available for lake paddles. Kayak entry from water easier than from dock. Very well equipped kitchen and a Weber charcoal grill. We brought guide books and maps. Being unconnected from internet or cell coverage was OK but Wifi would have been useful to compare hiking routes or local restaurants etc in more detail. The Taco Temptation restaurant in Keeseville is good, as is Arnold's market for beer. Perhaps best to bring most of your own food and drink. The only real issue we had was the hot water, which took a long time to get hot and then would cut off after a few short minutes. It made showers and dishwashing a bit problematic. A drying rack for dishes would also be helpful. A vehicle with good ground clearance is best for Glomann road, which is steep and has some ruts and rocks.

The property was as described in the ad. Very clean...most everything we needed. We could not find any extra garbage bags, so just went to dollar store and bought our own. Unfortunately, I came down with a cold a few days before we were scheduled to arrive. Felt pretty down and out most of the time there. My husband got sick a few days in, so we basically ate, slept and coughed the whole time. No fault of the owners, just really bad timing. A waste of our vacation time, but the location would have been perfect had we felt up to doing anything.
