This is not a hotel, no front desk. They could use some kind of welcome and information sheet. You can see the ocean from the balcony. It is the resort town of Skala - lots of hotels, resturants, beach. The ocean is so warm. The wifi and air conditioning are good. The bed is not exactly comfortable, the extra bed in the living room is a bed that pulls out from under the couch - very uncomfortable. The kitchen is tiny - be careful the air conditioning unit in the kitchen leaks and runs down to the dishes. There is nothing to clean the dishes with. There was no water pressure in the shower - but that was fixed quickly. Great location.

Stavros was very helpful in getting us an apartment upstairs for most of our stay which was lovely as the sea was in view from its balcony, and we did prefer it to the ground floor apartment. Stavros and his family couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming which helped to make it a special holiday. We liked Skala and the Main Street was nearby although the Alexander apartments themselves are in a quiet road near the edge of town. We hired a car and really enjoyed exploring the island as it is a lovely place. We especially liked seeing the huge turtles in Argostoli harbour. Thanks Stavros and Ursula and All for a great holiday.

Large Balcony with side Sea View

Our apartment consisted of an adequate size lounge and kitchenette, with a good size bedroom and bathroom. The apartment contained everything we needed for a very comfortable self catering holiday. We had 2 air conditioning units, which we didn't need to use as it was October, a lovely long balcony which could be entered from the bedroom or lounge area. The bins were emptied everyday and bedding and towels changed every 4 to 5 days.
