Villa No 2 has two floors All rooms are beautifully furnished to the highest standards.Downstairs has a open plan kitchen- dining -living area opening on to a large terrace which overlooks the garden and has amazing sea views. The kitchen is fully equipped with full oven and hob ,dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer.There is even a wood burning stove for our winter guests.
From here walk down to the pool and garden area with it's lovely seating area. Also on this floor is twin or double bedroom according to guest wishes and a bathroom with shower.
Walking up the stairs we get an beautiful view of the pool ,garden and the sea through the large stair window. On the upper floor we have a spacious twin/double room with balcony which overlooks the garden below. Also a bathroom with spacious shower and a double room with a large balcony with views of the ionian sea. It is everyone,s favourite spot.

We had a wonderful stay. The location was excellent - away from the bustle of the local town, surrounded by olive trees and very private. Yet, everything is within a short drive or a 15 minute walk. Joanne is a gracious and attentive host, available for questions as needed. The private pool and villa were wonderful. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed at Forget Me Not Villa with our two teenage boys. The villa itself has everything needed for a relaxing stay, lovely pool, bbq and plenty of space for all. The location was perfect, close to the airport and resorts. A car is useful to hire but plenty of activities close by that use of local transport would also be fine. Thank you to Joanne for welcoming us and being accommodating around our time of check in.

We had a lovely week at the “Forget me not” villa. The pool is big for a private villa and the accommodation clean and comfortable. We had a car due to the mobility of some of our party, but if you are remotely fit you could walk from the airport to the villa and then walk to many restaurants and bars during your stay. There are two villas together, but privacy was not an issue. Joanne the owner was always a phone call away for any issues. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at Never Forget Villas 2 and we will be very happy to come back. We can only confirm the above comments. And the lovely reception with the treats saved us from going to bed hungry when we arrived very late. Thank you very much Joanne. Just returned from a week in forget me not villa 2, we had a lovely relaxing stay. The villa is lovely and clean and well equipped with all you need. We didn’t hire a car which I would probably advise to do as it is about a 20 minute walk to the nearest restaurant and bar. We had a contact for a lovely taxi driver called Makis who took us anywhere for €25, bonus we could all enjoy a nice cold mythos or two ☺️ You can see the airport runway from the pool but the noise really doesn’t bother you. Joanne is a lovely host and really available for any questions or needs, thank you so much for an enjoyable stay in your beautiful villa.

Gorgeous, well maintained villa, beautiful setting with wonderful sea and mountain views, we enjoyed watching the planes land & take off, it wasn’t very noisy & the rest of the time it was so peaceful. Large garden and pool area, with plenty space, the sun beds are very comfortable as are the beds in the villa, we really appreciated being able to have every bed made up as a double. Amazing welcome pack, the best we have ever had. We arrived at 10pm, the kiosk near the airport was still open & the villa was really easy to find. It was brilliant bring a 5 minute drive from the airport, so convenient. Joanne is a lovely lady, very friendly and welcoming, communication with Joanne was very easy. We had an amazing family holiday, we love Kefalonia, the local people are so friendly and helpful and Greek food is totally delicious.

We stayed for one week in the end of June in the "Forget me not villa 2". The villa is pretty close to the airport - which is practical when you arrive. Joanne supplied us with a complimentary "welcome-basket" with some basic food - including a bottle of rose wine- which we really appreciated. The villa was just like the pictures. Nicely maintained and clean. The outside area was splendid - with a good size pool as well a shaded dining area. Don't worry too much about the close proximity to the airport. It's not that busy - so we were not bothered. You will need a car - and there are plenty of beaches and restaurants close by. We all enjoyed our week i Kefalonia and would love to come back to Villa Sarlata.

This is the second time we have stayed at Forget me Not Villas-we have been to both and the most recent was Forget Me Not 2 so we had a good idea of the location and the facilities. The communication with Joanne was excellent and when we had a slight plumbing issue she was able to fix it immediately. The Villas overlook the airport so there are obviously planes taking off and landing-it isn't a busy airport so we weren't concerned and the plus side is that it is just 5 minutes away from the airport so after a delayed flight it was great to have such a short journey. I would suggest that signs to the villa are put on the road junction ,both sides of the road, as there was a problem with the local taxi driver not being able to locate the villas and causing a 30m minute delay for the pick up. The Villa is very well equipped and I would be more than happy to stay here again. Thank you Joanne for such a lovely holiday in my favourite Greek Island. Steve Worsfold

Die Villa ist in einem hervorragenden Zustand und sehr großzügig. Der Pool ist zur Alleinnutzung und ebenfalls sehr schön. Zusätzlich hat man einen schönen Blick Richtung Meer. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet für Erkundigungen Richtung Argostoli, Richtung Süden und hin zur Ostküste. Dass der Flughafen unterhalb liegt, sollte man schon wissen, aber man befindet sich nicht in der Einflugschneise sondern seitlich. Und so viele Bewegungen gibt es auch wieder nicht, uns hat es nicht gestört. Alles in allem ein perfekter Aufenthalt mit einer herrlichen Begrüßung inkl. Frühstückspaket. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeberin.

Our sixth visit to Cephalonia and a lovely property, the second best we have had. Really convenient location and close to the airport. The plane noise was not intrusive and it was interesting watching the take-offs and landings. Downside was that the upstairs shower room was very small. Cleaning could have been better - items left under the beds and a few cobwebs.

La villa est comme indiquée dans l’annonce, très bien équipée, bonne literie et très bien située sur l’île , ce qui permet des visites à la journée ainsi bien au nord qu’au sud de l’île. Il y a juste un point qu’il faut connaître , la villa se trouve en bout de piste de décollage des avions. Il y a environs 20 vols par jours qui décollent sans parler des atterrissages. Donc pas de vis à vis , vue mer au loin avec la piste entre les deux. Pour être tout à fait sincère nous avons passé un bon moment mais la description de la Villa ne nous a semblé suffisamment précise. Par ailleurs la villa est mitoyenne avec une autre villa similaire. We had a wonderful stay at the Villa it was spacious and private loved the pool loved the balconies and the view great location close to many towns and the city as well as the airport loved to watch the planes take off and land they are no bother with the noise at all. Joanne left us a little basket of local goodies for breakfast snacks we appreciated so much. Great for families And friends And we each have our space and Private balcony would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to Come Back again ! I will always remember Forget me Not Villa. !! We had a great holiday and the villa was lovely. Everything was as described with 3 good sized bedrooms all with double beds and a well equipped kitchen and a lovely patio where we enjoyed many meals. We spent most of our time by the large infinity swimming pool relaxing on the padded sun beds drinking in the sea view and glorious sun. If there was a slight downside, yes the villa is near the airport and yes there is some noise, but not excessive and we are sensitive about peace and quiet on holiday. The owners are lovely and couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect and we will return.

The villa is a 5 minute drive from the airport, tucked away down a quiet track. Don't let proximity to the airport put you off - it's a small island airstrip with very few daily flights. From the villa it's an easy 10 minute drive in to Lassi for restaurants and the wonderful Costa Costa beach club. And it's a great base from which to explore the island. As we arrived late on our first evening, I very much appreciated the starter pack of local goodies Joanne left for us. The pool and garden were great and everything in the villa well laid out. The week flew by and we were sad to go. A perfect week of escape from 2020!!

Our Forget Me Not Villa was precisely as advertised and we thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks. The Villa provided a wonderful base for exploring the Island and was minutes from the airport, which made our arrival and departure so easy. Ammes beach and a number of restaurants were a 20 minute walk away and Argostoli a easy 20 minute drive. Joanne was terrific and made a great effort to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. A wonderful stay with real customer care from the very start to the very end. The property was wonderful and the highlight of the weeks holiday. Everything catered for and exceptional clean. The weather and scenery also stunning around the pool area or from the balconies of the villa. Joanne made us most welcome and even with a gift for our Daughters 11th birthday along with a wonderful meal and surprise birthday cake in the evening at Kayani Akti. The whole experience truly memorable for our family and resembles a quality property for your stay. Keep up the great work and look forward to returning again. Forget me Not Villa 2 exceeded my expectations. I've stayed at several VBRO properties and this rental did not disappoint. It is clean, spacious and had all the things one might need for cooking, making tea etc., not to mention that it is beautifully decorated, has ample parking, a covered porch area, a balcony overlooking the property with a view of the sea. The pool area has umbrellas and lounge chairs which we used every day. Our flight was in the evening and when we arrived in Kefalonia, it was quite dark. I was pleasantly surprised at how close the villa was to the airport. The roads in Kefalonia are not well lit, and there are many sharp curves and steep mountain roads which I am not accustomed to driving. Thankfully I did not have to drive far on my first night. I want to make sure I mention that while staying at the villa, I hardly noticed any noise or interruptions from the airport. It is a peaceful and lovely setting. You definitely need a car to explore this island properly. Forget me Not is a short distance from everything you might want to see. We went into Lassi for dinner a few nights and in Argostoli as well. Both are a quick and easy drive. My favorite local beach was Costa Costa and our favorite restaurant was the owners restaurant, Kyani Akti in Argostoli. Its right on the water and has a laid back, casual elegance about it. Dinner was amazing and desserts were out of this world! We loved it so much that we ate there twice. Thank you Joanne and family for making our trip to Kefalonia a fabulous experience., I have a feeling we will be back soon!

It was our first time on this beautiful island Kefalonia and we wasn’t disappointed. Forget me Knot villa 2 was stunning! It was everything we had hoped for and more. Linen/towel change and clean twice in our 12 day stay was great and not expected so frequently unlike other villas we have stayed in. It was a very special holiday for us and getting the family together was perfect. Joanne was in immediate contact as and when needed to answer any questions etc. The welcome pack was gratefully received by us all. We spent an evening having a lovely meal at the families restaurant and the location there was truly stunning, breathtaking! Thankyou Joanne for the use of your beautiful villa and we as a family have made some wonderful memories there. Totally recommend a stay at Forget me Knot villas.

From the moment we arrived at the villa we were just delighted with it! We had been a little worried that it was so close to the airport and so it might be noisy. The directions Joanne sent us were clear and concise and within 5 minutes from picking up our hire car we were at the villa. It was just as it looked in the photographs, if not even nicer. Joanne had left us a lovely welcome pack with loads of goodies which were very much appreciated and used. Once we had explored the villa and everyone had chosen their rooms and unpacked we then relaxed by the beautiful pool. The outdoor area is just spectacular and the views are amazing. As it turns out, it was a bonus to have the airport runway in front of us as we had an absolutely unspoiled view down to the sea and were able to enjoy the beautiful days and sunsets unobstructed. We all thought it was cool when a plane came in to land and we loved watching them glide in from a distance and take off. We were not in the least disturbed by the planes and in fact is added to our wonderful week. We were a family of 5 with three teenage children and so the pool was important. The size was perfect and the temperature was just right. The sun loungers were the most comfortable we have ever had and the umbrellas easy to use and a great size. We spent many hours in the pool playing volleyball etc. Although the two villas are adjoined, we always had a sense of privacy because of the way they are designed. The nights we dined at the villa, we ate on the veranda at the table which was a perfect size. The lighting around the whole outdoor area was plentiful and ambient. The location of the villa is perfect in relation to the island. We were only 10 minutes from Lassi (where we ate lunch one day) and 15 from Argostoli, the Capital. The shops in Argostoli are lovely and we ate out in the town 3 nights. Joanne reserved a great table for us at their family restaurant and we had a lovely dinner there one night, with complimentary desserts - you must go. We hired a speedboat for the day in Katelios (30 mins away), and spent an afternoon at the beautiful beach at Skala (40 mins away). We also went on a day trip over to Zante and the shipwreck beach and swam at the Blue Caves. A trip to Assos Castle (crazy climb) and a third visit to Melissani Lake completed our days out. It was hard to leave the villa and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Thanks Joanne and Family for a memorable holiday!

We had a lovely relaxing week. We were greeted with a very generous pack of breakfast items plus wine and water. The villa has everything you need and is so clean and tidy. The area is lovely and quiet and facilities are a 5-10 minute drive away. Joanne is a lovely host and could not have made us more welcome. A trip to their family restaurant in Argostoli is definitely worth a visit. Food is delicious and the staff are so lovely and welcoming. Thank you. We will be back xx

Our stay at Forget Me Not Villas was one of the most memorable vacations we’ve ever taken. We were there for three weeks, and travelled throughout the vicinity, and indeed, the whole island, during that time. Even spending the whole day just at the villa, which we did a couple of times over the three weeks, was a treat. The location, including the fabulous vistas and accompanying sunsets, the villas and its amenities, the host and her family, were all world-class. We don’t throw superlatives around lightly, but our stay in Villa One was extraordinary. We would recommend it to anyone who wishes to explore all the glory and beauty of Kefalonia. Joanne, her husband (…and his restaurant in Argostoli), and their daughter, Anna, were superb hosts, and accorded our two travelling couples a warm Greek welcome. David & Jocelyne, Montreal, Canada.

This villa is one of the best holiday houses we (parents and three grown up children) have stayed in. It is modern and very well equipped to a high standard with for example A/C in each room and mosquito screens for each window. There is a very large and well designed garden with multiple places to sit and read or just relax. Swimming pool is perfect including outdoor shower. Finally there is a very comfortable BBQ place at the front end of the house with large fire place, dining table, running water and lighting. All photos on website are good reflection of what it really is. Although there is a second house next door, lack of privacy is not an issue at all. Joanne, the host and owner, is very attentive and friendly. No down sides or improvement potential? I can think of only two minor ones. First is the proximity of the airport, already referred to by other guests. Given the modest frequencies of arrivals and departures a minor downside I would say, some in my family actually liked the 'aircraft spectacle'. Secondly, if I would live there, I would extend the patio cover so that it would also be fully in the shade in the afternoon.
