"This property is so peaceful and quiet. The cottage is 3kms from the main road, through a beautiful mature forest. The road is very well maintained. The cottage sits up on a small hill from the river/ lake, providing breathtaking views of the water. We were pleasantly surprised to have the opportunity to use a paddle boat, so easy to operate, great for all ages! Beds were comfy and had appropriate mattress and pillow covers, and very comfortable cotton bedding. Kitchen had lits of cookware, spices, cuttlery, etc. Nearby community of Caledonia, has a small grocery store and Home Wardware. Owners were very easy to reach and pleasant. We want yo come again! If you want to unplug and rejuvenate, this is your spot."

"The cottage was very clean and well stocked with everything you could need. BBQ was clean and ready for use. Waking up to the sound of a loon and having your morning coffee so close to the lake was amazing. The Owner made sure our stay was amazing. Definitely recommend others to come and see for yourself. Beautiful lake views from large deck livingroom and dining room.Kitchen has everything we needed to cook and serve 8 of us.We loved being on the lake in kayaks, canoe, and paddle board. "This is a beautiful cabin right on the lake, very peaceful and relaxing! It is a good location for day trips to Lunenberg and the coast, and Kejimkujik NP. Well equipped kitchen (be sure to get groceries before arriving as limited stores nearby). Two canoes made for a fun day of paddling around the lake from island to island. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"This cabin met our needs for a private little spot for the night. It was fully furnished with anything/ everything you need. I was a bit let down that the cabin was part of a compound where there were other cabins that didn’t belong to the host and the area didn’t look like the photos online.. it was super quiet and a bit rustic but if you’re not looking for a five star motel, then it is a fun place to stay. "
