"We knew exactly what we were paying for when we booked this hotel, although judging by some of the other reviews, it seems not everyone had the same expectations. This is an older, budget-friendly hotel, and the price reflects that. Is it fancy? Absolutely not. Is the breakfast anything special? No. Are the amenities impressive? Not particularly. But that’s not what you’re paying for. What you are getting is a clean, safe place to sleep, comfortable enough accommodations, and staff who were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. I think it’s important to have realistic expectations when booking accommodations, especially in an area where hotels can be considerably more expensive. You can’t reasonably expect luxury accommodations at budget prices. Yes, the property is dated and could use some updates, but that doesn’t automatically make it a bad hotel. At the end of the day, we felt safe, had a clean place to sleep, and were treated wonderfully by the staff. For the price we paid, I think that’s perfectly reasonable, and we got exactly what we expected."

"Stayed in a King bed Studio-type room. It was clean upon arrival, checked in easily at the front desk, received 2 breakfast tickets (paid an extra fee on Expedia), and was given complementary apps at their C2 restaurant (non-alcoholic beverages) since we were celebrating our anniversary. There were various breakfast options to choose from at C2 restaurant, and staff were so friendly and helpful. We also checked out Top of the East; their lounge and bar at the top floor. They had a live DJ on Saturday evening."
