"Cute little place. Provided a keurig but only had tea. No big deal just noting. Bathroom lighting is not great. Heating is hot as hades or cold. Hard to find happy medium with baseboard heat but to be expected. If you’re parking an SUV, plan to finagle your way out. Overall, I was happy with this unit."

The cabin itself, beyond its impeccably detailed design and appointments is situated on a lake that simply transports you to some other place and time--timeless really. "The views are stunning and we felt like we were on a boat so close to the water. We enjoyed watching the sea life and a nice walk down the beach. The cabin had everything needed and was comfortable to stay in."

"Everything was perfect, from the quaintness of the cabin to the communication with the host! It was exactly as described, and we came prepared! The only thing that didn’t go as planned was the hot plate, we couldn’t get our water to boil for some mac&cheese, but we had a backup! Our puppies loved paddling around in the water, and the scenery was to die for!"

"Two cabins on property. The photos they advertise are of the main cabin. Basically zero communication had to figure which one was my cabin on my own. Still a cute place to stay, just needs clear communication and show the second cabin or give option to choose which one."

"We celebrated my mother-in-laws birthday and had a wonderful time. The kitchen was stocked with cook wear & utensils to cook meals. The beds were comfortable, the space was cozy and we really enjoyed kayaking!"

"I would equate this property to like a cute pair of shoes that you simply must have but wearing them for any length of time is not all that comfortable. The house is clean, updated, and provides most necessary things for your stay. It is on the small side so I can't imagine more than two people staying there. My biggest issue was the shared things outside...there are two homes available to rent on the same property. It is clearly stated in the description but actually "living" it is awkward, at...

"My two children and I stayed in this Fox Island cabin for the long weekend. We loved the home and it was a perfect size for us. The cabin was clean and well equipped. The large, fenced in yard was great for our dog. The home is warm and inviting, plus comfortable and clean. Thank you to Meagan for good check in information and quick responses. "Enjoying our stay at Koi Cabin is an understatement. The setting, decor and comfort of the cabin was excellent. The location is perfect for nature walks and quick access to shopping. The view of Lake was equally lovely. This is a perfect place for a couple or small family to enjoy Maple Valley."

I tried to call ahead to communicate that we’d be doing a late check-in and there was no answer but once we arrived that evening we still had our room reserved. It’s located in a quiet area and the room was equipped with a full sized fridge, microwave, stove and some dishes. Would definitely recommend this place if you plan on staying for multiple nights. "
