Connecting with Cyndi (host) was easy to answer any questions and the smell of the fresh brownies as we walked in was a very nice welcome! Though the water had an unpleasant smell, just running it a bit helped it to go away. Private covered boat dock with a lift? Wow. Nice rental. Friendly neighbors. Great fishing!"

We felt that the house had not been checked for cleanliness and that everything was in working order prior to our arrival. Had issue with the toilet not working upon our arrival. The host did arrive the next day and repaired it."

"The pictures pretty much show what you get. It was very clean and really everything we needed. We cooked a few meals there and they had everything you'd want. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were nice. The setup of the garage was cool but it was really cold out and we couldn't get the garage warmer than 50. Otherwise we really would have enjoyed it. We'd go back in a heartbeat."

"Our host was awesome! She was more than welcoming to us and our dog. I can’t believe she had food bowls, waste bags, and towels for our beagle. The bedding was outstanding. Wonderful body wash in the shower and hand soaps at the sinks. The kitchenette had everything we needed. Location was great as well. Easy walk to restaurants or an easy drive to things on the other side of the lake. Convenient to Ohio Caverns and other points of interest."

"Had a wonderful time at the Nook to watch the total solar eclipse! The place was exactly what was expected from the listing. And John was a great host - very nice, responsive, and even set out some extra eclipse glasses for us to use on our visit - so thoughtful! All in all, great stay!"

"So fortunate to find this jewel! I was working in Carey for the week and the closest hotels were a 34 minute drive. This amazing farm cabin was only 8 minutes from my worksite and what an unbelievable find. Bob and Angie were so warm and welcoming as were the farm friends! I felt like I was on vacation the whole time. I was truly sad to leave, next year I will be booking an extra day or two! The cottage was all I needed and extremely clean. 5 stars for sure!"
