"We chose the hotel because of its price point and proximity to health services. We were pleasantly surprised! While obviously a ‘budget friendly hotel’, it was neat and very clean. The bed was comfortable and cosy and all linen and towels excellent. Above all, friendly staff made us welcome and could not have been more helpful!"

"We stayed the night we got married and was so surprised that when we got back to our room there was a bottle of sparkling wine left chilled on ice from the hotel. The room although dated was large, clean and had great views of the Torrens River. Its in the heart of the city, so close to everything. The breakfast was sufficient but the table wasn't cleared of dirty dishes and the staff didn't come around to see if we wanted further cups of coffee/tea. That was our only complaint. All in all a lovely stay."

"I was lucky to book this hotel at the last minute, travelling with a husky. Tom’s Hotel still had a pet friendly room (of which there are three) available. Checking in and out, even after hours, is easy. If you use their offsite booking, there is a garage two side streets away. It’s undercover and access is via a touch card. The room itself, as is the whole hotel, is very clean. Housekeeping however, only re-tucks in your existing sheets, not replace them. I’m guessing though that a full change would happen if the linen gets soiled/dirty. One thing to note is that the room I stayed in did not have a room safe. This may be true for other rooms, but I cannot say with certainty, only having stayed once. Staff were polite, friendly and professional, they were a pleasure to deal with. The hotel is not necessarily the closest hotel to tourist hotspots, but it is far from being an inconvenient stroll to get to them. My experience there was a positive one, and I would certainly stay there again when the need arises. (Yes, that’s a chicken nugget my husky left for me on the bed.)"

"I like the fact that if you want a pack of chips or a chocolate, you don't have to pay 5 or 6 dollars, as I do at the Hilton. Great room, very clean and fresh. I did not like that when I arrived, I tried to book a table for dinner; there was nothing available. I ended up sitting on a stool in the bar to eat dinner, which would never have happened at the Hilton. The staff were all very accommodating and helpful."
