Mara Major Camp is the perfect place to stay for an authentic Kenyan safari experience. The lodge staff are local Maasai that truly make the place special. We were the only guests at the camp because we stayed at the beginning of the rainy/off season and they were so attentive to us, taking care of all our needs. Went with my wife to Mahali Mzuri to celebrate our honeymoon. From the very beginning everything was wonderful. Hotel staff (special mention to Dixon, Anna and Bob) always made sure everything was perfect. The facilities and rooms of the hotel are unbelievable, same as the location where we were able to see lions, giraffes, zebras from our room! Thank you!

Beautiful eco camp with great amenities! The food at the restaurant was great and prices were fair. It’s also a good environment for meeting other travelers, ie at meals or by the pool. I will definitely stay here again when I’m back in Nairobi!

This hotel is paradise! The staff are kind, generous and available around the clock. Our safari guide Daniel was the best in Africa - he found baby lion cubs, two leopards (usually elusive), baby elephants, baby giraffes, hippos out of the water, and exotic birds - and was very knowledgeable about the land and animals. This is a gorgeous place to stay, 5 min outside the park. The tents are lovely, the staff extraordinary, the food excellent. The only complaint is that you have to buy all your drinks including even water.

The hotel is located on the crater of Crater Lake. The view is breathtaking, there is hiking around with amazing views. The service is excellent, the food is good but the best is the view. I hope I will be back and spend several days there.

Ashnil has great facilities, delicious food, and VERY comfy accommodations. Their staff is very attentive and take great care of you. One of the aspects that I feel are especially important is the location of the camp. It is situated on the banks of the Mara River and right in the middle of the Masai Mara Reserve. Some of the other "camps" are located closer to the entrances and therefore a longer drive to be in the heart of game drive country is necessary. This is my second time to stay...

We love our stay at Emayan. We went with our 2 daughters (5 and 9). The staff was very friendly and kind with each of us. The food was delicious, with a variety of options, and several courses. Incredible experience! The tent was clean and roomy. They are situated in great location inside the park, serene environment by the river, awesome view from the tent. All the staffs are attentive, friendly, and professional, the guards, the chefs, all of them, thank you. Beatrice, our contact staff, was so kind and attentive. Right on the doorstep on Meru, the rooms are comfortable, meals delicious, staff accommodating, and nature relaxing. We left early one day on a game drive and we’re provided a cooler with breakfast to take with us. Loved staying here and would definitely return. There are a lot of cats, but they are not bothersome.

Exceptional property under Acasia (Tortillis) trees outside of Amboseli National Park. Tents are big and clean. Food is exceptional and staff is very kind and world-class.

Their dining is superb, unlike any safari oriented place I've ever stayed, which is over 30 times. Their menu is extensive, and I mean first-class. You order one hour before because it takes time to create great food in the wilds of Masai Mara.. Simply amazing. I would go back just for the food.
