The Best in Town

Can't fault the Colonial Motel.. the onsite owners were most welcoming and friendly. The Colonial Motel is located just up the road (5 minute walk .. uphill) from Kerikeri's best hotel/restaurant the Pligh and Feather!

Colonial House motel was very nice to stay at. Easy check in. Convenient location to town without being in town itself. Nice restaurant down the road. Room was clean and comfortable. Will be back next time I travel.

All in one neat studio plus jet bathtub

Very friendly staff. Clean and Neat place of all in one studio. Only downside was I could not park my car front the studio as it should be.

What a beautiful property! We really loved how the bamboo trees bordered the place as well as all of the beautiful tropical plants everywhere! The front entrance of the reception area was also really beautiful with the plants. We loved that there were screens on the windows because we were able to leave our windows open and hear the beautiful birds without having to worry about bugs coming to join us. Really easy to get to town and a great sleep and a great shower. Thank you so much for having us from Canada

This is a quintessential NZ motel.We stayed with family members in a double cottage situation that was perfect for sharing meals etc.The cottages were spacious and had everything we needed.We didn't need to eat out if we didnt want to making our holiday more affordable. Sky TV and air conditioning were a plus.Other special touches included a welcome drink on arrival and daily cookies for our well stocked beverage station. Use of the pool and bbqs added to our stay. The surprise was the efficient, daily servicing of our cottages by very friendly staff.This doesn't even happen in some 5 star hotels now. We would not hesitate to recommend this motel and hope to be back for that laid back holiday feel in a typical NZ garden environment for familes or couples alike.
