We were very pleased with our 2 night stay in Lucerne at the Cascada. The hotel is a convenient distance from the train station, an easy walk with luggage but far enough away that you can't hear trains. Reception was excellent and was able to get us into our room a couple hours before check-in time. They also were able to put us in a room towards the quiet back side of the building (little to no street noise.) Switzerland uses outlet plugs which are different from anywhere we've been in Europe....

Fantastic location!! Very clean and well maintained. This hotel has the best included hotel breakfast of any that i’ve ever seen! I would stay here again!!

I went to Engelberg for a restful weekend of walking and was very happy with my stay. From arrival to departure the ladies who operate the hotel were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, and they are well stocked with comforts like snacks and wine (very fairly priced too!) for late night goodies. I would recommend them and hope to stay again another time.

We asked for a lake view room upon reservation and when we arrived, we were upgraded to a suite with not only a lake view, but a balcony. The accommodations were not only spacious and comfortable, but the room was beautifully appointed with an antique desk and dresser, lovely chandeliers, roomy closets and a double sink bathroom. Details and little touches make this hotel special. We received a bowl of fruit, a handwritten note of welcome, and binoculars to enjoy the spectacular views offered...

The hosts were very helpful and friendly. They responded to every text very quickly and positively. The room was clean and comfortable, with a very workable kitchenette. The view from the window was AMAZING

Hotel Alpenhof if a beautiful, peaceful hotel in Grendelwald. We had a suite on the top floor with a balcony and a sweeping view of the mountains and green hillsides. The room was spacious and clean, with an handy minibar in case you want to have a beer on the nice deck, and tastefully decorated in Swiss style. Excellent hotel Diego was most helpful with late check in and then a wonderful staff and breakfast. Wish we could stay longer but will be back again soon for sure.

this hotel is world class and is the nicest ski hotel I have ever stayed at. Service and the amenities were excellent. the rooms are as good as they get. The mountain is underappreciated as it compares with Lech, Grindewald, etc.

It was the perfect place to stay with 2 teenagers. We felt safe leaving them to enjoy themselves and it was great for them to have a place to stay with big screen TV to watch World Cup semi finals. We would definelely stay here again. We had a hostel room which was small but had lots of showers and toilets and large gathering area so it was not an issue at all.

Excellent hotel. We would like to stay more days here.
