While this building is clean and modern, beware that the elevator goes only to the 3rd floor - so if you're room is on the 4th floor, you will need to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs. Our room was VERY VERY small, even by european standards. The (king sized) bed was also basically on the ground. There was not enough space in the room for my husband and I to have our small (carry on sized) suitcases opened at the same time. Also the opening to the shower is very narrow! The Japanese toilet was a nice perk. Kerns is a very small town, and to get there you need to take a city bus from Sarnen (short ride). The hotel has a restaurant and there are a few other restaurants in town, but it is a mostly residential town. I would not stay at this hotel again - but it is clean, safe and modern. Check in was fully automated and you can unlock your door with your smartphone - however it is difficult to reach staff if there is an issue.

Unterkunft nur bis zur 3. Etage Barrierefrei! Hatte leider ein Zimmer in der 4. Etage unterm Dach. Es wurde ein Duftspray, bzw. Duftstäbchen verwendet, was für Allergiker höchst kritisch ist. Lüften war zwar möglich, hat aber nichts gebracht. Leider nicht empfehlenswert.

Incheckproces en toegang tot de kamer werkt prima (alles verloopt digitaal), kamer was erg up to date, goede bedden en toilet/douche faciliteiten. Enige punt (per persoon afhankelijk) is het gebrek aan een airco. Was nu best warm en de ventilator was niet heel fijn om te gebruiken ivm de windsnelheid

Todo muy bien , hasta Restaurant tenía , y eso es muy bueno por que los lugares de comida cierra. Temprano en ese pueblo , así que la comida del hotel ayuda mucho , buen desayuno lo único que me gustaría es que tengan minisplit , aunque teníamos abanicos , teníamos que dejar ventanas abiertas para que entre el fresco que la verdad si está fresco , fui en agosto y estaba agradable el clima

Séjour super agréable dans ce très bel hôtel. La chambre au top, literie très confortable, plein de petites attentions à disposition. Le restaurant au pied de l'hôtel est très bon. Kerns est un petit village très sympa, bien situé, vraiment nous avons adoré cet endroit

Very modern and clean. Beds were comfortable and amenities were awesome. Had trouble finding parking especially since we reached at 12:30 in the night. As most European hotels there was no AC and it was very hot in the room even though we had fans. I don’t think the self check-in was very efficient when it came to getting answers to some imminent questions like parking, AC, possibility of a late checkout.

Très bel hôtel, nous avons passé un bon séjour d’une nuit, la cuisine est très utile, lave-vaisselle prêt à l’emploi. Il y a peigne, brosse à dents, charlotte, rasoir, serviettes et peignoir pour la douche, quel plaisir ! Cependant, nous n’avons pas trouvé de poubelle de recyclage… On recommande tout de même

Dejlig lejlighed med altan. Moderne og flot indretning. Værelset var rent og lyst, og vi var generelt godt tilfredse med standarden. Hotellet har ingen reception, da der er self check in på stedet. Dette virkede dog upåklageligt.

Our particular room was on top of the building which is ok, but hotel lights on the roof were coming into our room so it was difficult to sleep with so much light. The curtains are not blackout and there are no blinds on the windows. The church bells ring last at 10pm and then again from 6am - maybe the lights can be kept off for this time as well.
