The house is comfortable and well equipped. Central Keswick but with its own parking space and a rural feel from the garden. We’d happily return.

A lovely cottage in an ideal location to explore Keswick and beyond. Quaver Cottage is warm and very comfortable and had all that we needed for us to feel very ‘at home’ whilst there. Many thanks to the owners and Keswick Cottages for a very pleasurable booking and holiday experience.

A brilliant holiday

We have stayed in Keswick many times and Quaver Cottage is our favourite by far. It ticks every box for a relaxing break and still be central. A lovely touch this year was a welcome gift for our dog, 100% recommended.

Highly Recommended

Great cottage - well equipped, comfortable and conveniently located, with its own off street parking spot. The cottage is located close to Keswick town centre and only a couple of minutes walk from Booths Supermarket but it's well off the main streets and by the river do it's really quiet and peaceful. The USP is that the owners encourage you to put out bird food (provided) and if you do you'll be rewarded with visits from all kinds of birds - including some pretty tame pheasants who aren't adverse to trapping on the patio doors to remind you to feed them! There are also rabbits that visit regularly. The cottage itself is very comfortable and well equipped, clean and maintained to a high standard. Keswick Cottages are great to deal with. They have a very good web site and provide you with plenty of information about the cottage and local attractions and amenities. All in all highly recommended.

Quaver Cottage Keswick

Excellent all round - can't fault it. I'd certainly stay there again. t Two minutes to supermarket/buses and town centre..... yet exceptionally quiet location. The owners use the property so it's like a home not a holiday let. Loved it.

A Keswick gem

We try to visit Keswick every year and Quaver Cottage is our favourite stay and always book through Keswick Cottages. We have had no issues over the last 8 years or so. No hesitation in recommending the above.
