You deserve a break from the daily grind, and this classic Ketchum vacation home offers fantastic views overlooking Trail Creek, a community hot tub, and an unbeatable location less than a mile from lifts at River Run. Come with friends or family for the outdoor recreation, and end up staying a few extra days for the art galleries, restaurants, and shops! The condo offers a deck overlooking the creek and inside views of the slopes on Baldy. In winter, hop on the nearby River Run lifts, or explore all of Bald Mountain in search of perfect powder. In summer, the resort provides hiking and mountain biking trails, and you can even fish for your dinner in the Big Wood River. No matter how you spend your day, a soak in the community hot tub will leave you refreshed to do it all over again! The second-floor space provides new appliances, including WiFi and an X-box. You'll stay cozy while watching DVDs thanks to a fireplace and a fully-equipped kitchen will help you create hearty meals for long days outdoors. Enjoy meals around the dining table, or eat sausages straight off the gas grill on the deck outside.

The region is truly an outdoor playground, offering four area golf courses, state parks, and national forests to explore by mountain bike or hiking boot, and charming mountain boutiques and restaurants in town. Teach little ones to ski on the beginner slopes of Dollar Mountain, or enjoy the snow at a slower change of pace at The Sun Valley Nordic and Snowshoe Center. In summer, hike the Crow Creek Loop/Greenhorn Trail, or spend days on stand-up paddleboards at Sun Valley Lake.

Love Mike’s condo

Very convenient location, but very dated and not clean.

Very convenient to downtown attractions. Was able to walk to restaurants and other attractions. Disappointed in appearance. Carpet is filthy, toaster didn't work, kitchen very dimly lighted and one of the ceiling lights was not working which made it even more dim. Would not recommend to friends or relatives.

Four guys on a ski trip.

Fitting accommodations for a ski vacation. Pictures on the listing very accurate and beds were comfortable. Relaxing setting. Close to both River Run lifts and Ketchum and on two bus routes for easy access to the slopes or downtown stores and eateries.

Ketchum townhome

This townhome requires major cleaning and some updating. Cobwebs everywhere. Dirty coffee table with sticky food and dirty towel left upon arrival. Dead bugs in window seals. Asked to have it cleaned as it smelled horrible upon entering. They came and did next to nothing. Still had dirty towel, cobwebs, dirty table and dead bugs. I think maids ran an air atomizer. We just kept windows open. The upholstery needs to be cleaned or replaced. Felt like an upgrade from camping. This condo missed its deep cleaning for years. Also had many missing or broken screens. A shame as location is terrific.

Great location, spacious (little old), great price

A 2nd floor unit that has high ceilings and plenty of space; lots of light. The upstairs bedroom is open (no privacy) and has a wonderful sink area but the shower could use an update (fan is loud, shower is showing its age). Downstairs bathroom showerhead needs replacing (doesn't adjust) and is very loud. Rangehood lights need replacing otherwise it's very dark around the stove. These are all minor things. Spacious community hot tub is a short walk but has changing rooms. Beds were comfortable, which is important.

Perfect place to stay for skiing at Sun Valley

Clean, perfect location, walk to town and walk to slopes - even though I would recommend a car as walking the 10 minutes with skis isn’t always easy. Nice unit, nice hot tub, overall exactly what we were looking for.

We enjoyed our stay here in this obviously loved family home. It could use updates but given the price it's absolutely fine. Sliding door to deck overlooking sweet stream needs fixing and deck could be really enjoyable if they'd invest a little TLC. 'Didn't know it lacked A/C but we should've known to ask--and the fans helped enough that it wasn't an issue. We'd recommend it given the great price, cleanliness and nice touches like laundry detergent.

Superb Locatiom

We were able to walk or ride bikes anywhere we wanted to go, but if you are planning on cooking and entertaining, the kitchen is poorly equipped so I would suggest bringing your own knives, griddle, pans, etc anything you need for your cooking other than usual fare. The location is very safe and the other residents very helpful. Trail Creek is pleasant to hear from the balcony of the condo, and we were able to bird from there as well.

It would have been nice to have some information on the town and the sun valley resort. The only info we had was a bad tourist map and a magazine that listed some restaurants. Bald Mtn. trail map would have been nice as well.

Nice condo in Ketchum

The condo was great and in a convenient location so you can walk to downtown or to the skating rink. There were a few maintenance issues but overall, everything was good. I own a couple vacation rentals and I know how hard it is to keep up on every little repair. You can sleep 6 guests very easily and the living room is great for relaxing by the gas fireplace and watching football on the HD TV. The bathrooms are a bit dated but there is plenty of hot water to take nice long showers after a hard day of skiing.

Wedding Vacation

We stayed at this home over a weekend while in town for a wedding. The location was perfect as it was only a few minutes from town. The home was clean and spacious. We had a wonderful time!
