"A little of attention to detail to make this cottage feel like it still belongs to the 19th century, but full of luxurious like a big spa bath, coffee machine, hidden away tv, super luxurious bed and bedding, reasonably priced drinks in the fridge, and a beautiful spots out front and to the rear to enjoy the beautiful gardens and the quiet surroundings. "This Kingston home is in a quiet neighborhood located a throws distance from Hobart. Home was immaculate and very comfortable. We were a grp of 4 friends in 40’s - 60’s. This was our 5th home in 2.5 weeks. By far the most comfortable. Big points for the dryer as we noticed most homes provided the washer but not the dryer. The home is updated with ample pantry & other accessories in kitchen. We wanted for nothing. Had a couple questions during our stay that the property manager, Nicola was able...

"Jane Cottage is perfect home stay accommodation . A very cute 1855 stone cottage with a very adequate extension for 2 people. But it has some lovely personalised and quirky little additions that make it unique . It was a just around the corner to a classy bottle shop and heaps of all types of eating and drinking places . It only took us around 25 minutes to walk down to the waterfront straight down Elizabeth St. Bed was extremely comfortable and had a beautiful little courtyard to look out too...

"My husband, our dog, and I stayed one night in this cottage and absolutely loved it. We had our privacy, but could easily contact host if needed. Once checked in we had our own private exit/entry. The cottage was very clean, beautiful designed, and the little touches left for guests by the host were very much appreciated. We were so sad we only booked it for a night. Our dog didn't want to leave either. Thank you for a WONDERFUL home away from home."

"The house is close to the Sandy Bay shops and restaurants and many of Hobart's iconic places. It has everything you need. For us, the bed was a little too firm but our son found the bed in the second bedroom very comfortable, so a matter of personal taste. The host was very accommodating."

"The cottage is lovely and the owner was very personable. Our only disappointment was the breakfast provisions. We thought if we had been tourists staying in the Huon we would have expected some lovely local produce. Instead it was just Coles brand items. The facilities are very nice though and it was perfect for what we needed."

"The house has a lovely view across the bay and is close to the ferry as well as cafes and the local hotel for evening meals. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, but the kitchen is poorly equipped if you do choose to stay in for a meal. There was also a problem with the pump, which needed to be reset frequently."

"Fantastic location. Easy walk to waterfront and city attractions. Friendly, helpful staff. Room quiet despite being on a busy thoroughfare. Airport Skybus stops just out the front. Would have loved a coffee machine. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Hobart."
