Never to be revisited
The night I stayed the petrol station next to hotel was being refurbished. That meant jack hammers and floodlights throughout the night - the poor staff didnt know anything about it until they started and were very apologetic - staff were very good. Professional, welcoming, friendly and helpfull.
However - the room I stayed in was a bit grubby (lights on side of bed showed how dusty the room and carpet were). Sofa bed was badly stained (thankfully I wasnt using it).
Bed linen looked like it had seen better days.
Quilt was as thin as a blanket.
Pillows very thin - I was on my own and the three pillows in the room were ok together but if been with another person - wouldnt have been enough.
'Breakfast in a box' the next morning was dreadfull and very poor value - small stale muffin, small stale choc au pain, tiny helping of cornflakes and small bottle of orange juice - for £5.00.
Little Chef next door - should have gone there for breakfast.
Whole place very poor grubby atmosphere of institution. Would not return or recomend.
