"We stayed at Hogs Hollow for two nights whilst driving the garden route and we loved our stay. Our room - no 17 (or rather suite) was stunning. Breathtaking views from our private veranda and a spacious room with living area and large bed, and not to mention a wood burner that was freshly laid each day kept those chilly nights away. "I was travelling with my colleague on a work related visit to a family in Plett. We travelled 800km to Plett, only to be told by the lodge that our bookings were cancelled the morning of the check-in day. As to why the booking was cancelled, we were told that it is because my card payment was declined. This was nonsense as this payment was made more than a month before the check-in day and there was not such communication. I even checked with my bank and my money was still out of my bank...

"Pleasant stay in a well equipped, spacious cottage on a beautiful farm with a friendly land lady who made many suggestions for hikes, restaurants and events, including even a polo match at a nearby estate. Thank you Ilze!"

"Stanley Island is rely an Island, you can go there only by boat , it makes it uncomfortable if you plan to sleep more than one night and have plans in the area. You need to be organize and bring with you enough food. If you plan to come with a family, with kids and to stay for a day or to is very nice' you have a realy nice area and pool.it is big and specious. the pepole are nice, and frendly. there are some zebras that we met in the morning, is like sleeping in a natural reserve."

Did not have breakfast at accommodation so cannot comment, but there was some slices of bread, butter and jam provides if required.
