"The staff was very friendly but the property is a bit frayed at the edges. The restroom by the beach were locked and couldn’t be unlocked with a room key. Room smelled very musty."

"We had the two bedroom deluxe suite in the Hammock Wing and loved the spaciousness of the living and bedrooms - although the bathroom was tight. The sunset from their beach was beautiful The property was pretty and loved the access to the beach where we spent most of the time. We were pleasantly surprised at the activities available each day. The place really felt like a resort with planned activities, access to a beach with kayaks and paddle boards to use included with the stay, restaurants, and a beautiful property to walk around. During our stay we went to eat at Mrs Mac Restaurant, Pinecrest Bakery, Key Lime Pie Factory, Snook’s Bayside, and Reggie’s Tower of Pizza - so easy to get to multiple places within 10-15 min. Also stopped at Publix close by to get some drinks and snacks for the room since we had a full kitchenette. The room configurations and views were great even though they had chipped paint and could use a bit of updates. Overall we were happy with the stay. The only disappointment we had was not being able to see any manatees on our Eco-tour boat trip but was able to see a dolphin while jet skiing in Islamorada."

"All rooms of our suite were clean, the living room furniture appeared new, the front desk staff was exceptionally friendly, plenty of on site parking and the views from the balcony were enjoyable due to the beauty of the area, as well as passing boats. It was a bit noisy due to music and voices carrying over the water but not too late."

I also appreciated the little details, like the quality toiletries, ample lighting, and convenient charging outlets. One of the highlights was the hotel’s amenities. The beach area was clean and relaxing, perfect for unwinding in the afternoon. Watch the sunset was amazing. The location was another big plus—close to restaurants, shops, and local attractions, making it easy to explore the area without needing to travel far. If I had to point out a downside, it would be that the walls were a bit thin, and I could occasionally hear noise from neighboring rooms. However, it wasn’t enough to significantly impact my stay. Overall, I had a very enjoyable weekend at this hotel. The combination of comfortable accommodations, friendly service, and convenient location makes it a place I would definitely consider staying at a Drift Hotel "
