  • #TroveOn A couple miles north of Key West, on the right is Boca Chica Rd, follow that road as far as you can and you'll get to the beach at Geiger Key. The road comes to an abrupt stop, the rest of it was destroyed in a hurricane years ago but you can park there and walk out. The beach is secluded and quiet, except when the Navy is holding flight practices. The planes are so close, you can see the pilots!

Great view of ocean and nice location

The 3 sliding glass doors lead to the balcony, great view, nice swimming pool, located between 2 beaches. Easy Uber access. However, the washer and dryer are noisy, slow and low capacity. The oven does not hold a temperature and pizzas burn up. The unit is a little dated. I would stay at the property again but a different unit.

Unexpected fees!!!

Great views, balcony, separate spacious rooms, pool and hot tub packed, great location. Security was not friendly. People that live in the building are mean and like police people watching you. Never see anyone cleaning property: pool, etc. Charges were more then expedia promised, taxes, cleaning fees and other crap. Additional unexpected fees charged after the stay, they expect you to leave the apartment in immaculate condition, and if you don't additional fees applied. Be aware!!! Or and master bedroom had bed bugs, still itching.

Nice hotel with a beach view

Exceptional! All that we expected and more. Close to Duval and other attractions. Kitchen was functional but outdated. Overall wonderful place to stay!

Nice place

This is the only place I've ever been expected to wash my own linens, dishes, and take the trash out when I leave or suffer additional fees (and there is a $65 cleaning fee on top of that). Unreasonable considering the price. There are no hotel staff as this is a condo. Other than that, very nice property.

Great place!

I would recommend this hotel for families. Great pool, nice neighborhood, and bike distance to Duval. Great customer service! I highly recommend getting the ocean view or partial ocean view.

Excellent choice instead of a hotel

We went to Key West for fishing and a 5 day stay. The condominium was very clean and had all of the necessary accommodations for a great stay. The door lock was a bit of a challenge and the stove could use some updating but otherwise very comfortable and we were super pleased with our choice. The pool and courtyard areas were amazing. Huge pool and great looking grounds. A bit of a distance from Duval but only a $15 cab ride which wasn't so bad considering the quality of the space. Right next to Smathers beach. You aren't provided with daily maid service so if you are used to that, pick a hotel. We were perfectly fine with lack of service and rarely find the need to go to the front desk of a hotel anyway.

Great family vacation

We had a fabulous vaction here. The rooms are very spacious and were perfect for our blended family with step children, as everyone had their own sleeping space. The unit was great, very clean, very comfortable and very close to the centre of Key Wet. Highly recommend a stay here.

1800 Atlantic Avenue

The Condo was understated in all the reviews I read while researching it. This place has to be the hidden gem of Key West. It was an all around 5 star facility in every way. The condo is a fourth floor unit with an OCEAN VIEW as advertised. Everything in the condo worked perfectly. The unit was extremely quiet, and this was a concern for me as it is located near the Key West Airport and the Naval Air Station. Meeting the property manager during our stay helped me to understand why so quiet. The entire property has recently been remodeled with new hurricane-proof three piece sliding doors (one in each bedroom and one in the living room). According to Kirk (who manages these and lives there on property) these doors were very expensive. What quality ! The olympic pool and large hot-tub were never crowded and were kept immaculate !! The private grounds were perfectly landscaped and reminded us of the property in Kauai HI, the Grand Hyatt 5 star hotel grounds. The condo was so comfortable that it was hard to leave to go enjoy all the sites of the Key. We were late arriving to the property our first day as we toured each Key on our drive down. But they were so accommodating that they have an on site security guard who was only too happy to sign us in late. Special thanks to all of the staff there for making our stay the best part of our island visit !! Keep up the good work !!

A Gem for Couples

Perfect for a long weekend getaway. Great ocean view from terrace. Very clean pool, nice tennis courts and gardens. Very spacious 2 bedroom condo with comfortable beds. Nice to be away from the touristy Duval Street area.

Ferienwohnung, kein Hotel - aber sehr schön

Schöne Wohnung in einer schönen Anlage direkt an einem der wenigen schönen Badestrände von Key West, gute 20 Minuten Fußweg vom Zentrum entfernt. Einchecken klappte im Security-Büro der Anlage reibungslos. Warum man hier ein hotelteam bewerten muss, ist mir ein Rätsel.

Great condo close to beach

Getting in there wasn't easy as Expedia failed to explain check in. No on site office. Had to take a taxi to the office after security office told me nothing he could do. Had to wait an hour outside as that office didn't open on a Saturday until 1:00pm. After that the woman in the office offered us a ride back then somebody else came into the office and she just called us a cab. When we finally got there we had to wait until 4:00 to get into our room as they were still cleaning and we had to tote all of our luggage with us. Didn't offer anything for our serious inconvenience. The woman in the office was ok to blame Expedia but didn't like the fact when I mentioned that 1800 Atlantic never sent me an email either. The room was absolutely beautiful, the view was amazing.

Nice condo community

Pleasantly surprised. Rooms were large, 2 full bathrooms, complete kitchen, washer/dryer in the condo. Pool was beautiful. Short drive to airport or tourist destinations.
