THE LIVING AREA...

AMERICANA TROPICALE was designed with the vision of creating the ideal home base for a group wanting to experience the Key West adventure. The large living area is ideal for gearing up to head out or winding down after a day full of adventure in Old Town. There is plenty of seating for everyone, with several plush couches, chairs, and seating at the island-inspired dining table. One of the sofas pulls out to a queen sized sleeper to accommodate two extra guests. There is a half bathroom off the living area for convenience.

The kitchen sits off the living area with luxury appliances and tools, equipped with everything you'll need to prepare a meal at home in between enjoying the fantastic array of Old Town restaurant options, all just a few blocks walk away.

YOUR PRIVATE SALTWATER POOL...

The living room opens up to the lovely pool area, with equal amounts of sunshine and shade all day and fully fenced for privacy. The saltwater pool can be heated and is surrounded by luxury chaise lounges and chairs for relaxing outside. Lush tropical greenery decorates the fence and the BBQ grill is perfect for a poolside cookout.

Large house, excellent location

This home was perfect for our stay in Key West. The communication from the property management was excellent, from prior to our arrival to departure. House was comfortable, and rooms were large! Pool was able to be heated for us, and pools towels were available as well. Location to Duval St was excellent, but the area around the home was quiet, away from the “crowds”. I would recommend this home to anyone visiting Key West!

Great place and location

We stayed here for our family vacation. The place was roomy enough for everyone and the location was ideal. Danny our property manager was extremely helpful- he carried our luggage in when we first arrived and brought us cookware so we could enjoy our homemade Sunday Italian dinner. I highly recommend!

The property was lovely and the location was perfect. The pool was just right and our family of six had a great time. The rental service was responsive, they quickly addressed our needs and helped us get on our TVs. The shared living space was great and we had plenty of space to play games. The bedrooms, however, were a bit shabby, mattresses need an upgrade and we needed extra blankets, which required a call and had to be delivered.

Excellent location and great for groups

We came for a girls trip with a party of 8 people. The house was lovely. The pool is an excellent bonus! The location cannot be beat, walkable to everything on Duval street. Communication with the property management company was easy with very quick response times. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect family location

Entry door off a quiet alleyway made us feel special. Colorful decor, private pool, within walking distance of pretty much everything. Plus dog friendly. We had an RV, so parking was a challenge. So once we parked we walked everywhere or took an Uber.

Exactly what we expected

The house was very clean and well prepared on arrival. We had requested a 4 burner grill which was delivered prior to our arrival. We requested heat for the spa after we arrived, contacted the host via VRBO, got a quick response and heat was on shortly after. We did have a hiccup with the pool pump tripping the breaker. Again, contacted the host, who was quick to get someone out the fix the issue. The property is close to anything you may need. My young adult children enjoyed the game room. Great stay, plan on staying again in the future.

Property Manager Danny

Danny was great as we arrived and very helpful. As the parking situation became an issue he quickly became a different person and wasn’t friendly at all. He was very unorganized and started to threaten our car being towed after telling us where to park. There were multiple parties involved and he took sides of those that yelled the loudest. Very uncomfortable and unsettling to say the least. I’ll keep it that!!!!

Key West Vacation 2023

The property is located in the heart of Key West. We had a great time with my wife, my three sons and 2 of which are married and 1 grand child. The only feedback I would give is put a King in the largest bedroom upstairs. Would be an easy fix to switch furniture with one of the other bedrooms. We ended up staying downstairs since there were King Beds. 2nd Feedback is to unlock the thermastat in the downstairs bedroom. Locked on 72 and could not adjust. Maintenance could not fix. Even if had a range of 68-72. Very hot at night. Aside from that was an excellent rental and would come back if can unlock the nest thermostat.

Incredible place, phenomenal location

My five college friends and our three recent college graduate daughters had the best time!! :) We did have a bit of trouble finding the place as our Lyft driver didn't know how to find Dupont Lane. Make sure you have your map app up and running to assist your driver! The house was exactly as described. It is adorable, well furnished, and slept nine of us comfortably. Thanks to the sofa bed in the room upstairs with the king bed, our three girls were able to stay in the same room. Those of us in the rooms on the main floor we a tad cramped for space, but it wasn't a problem at all! The pool was the perfect size for the nine of us. We enjoyed coffee, generously provided by the house manager Danny, every morning with our feet dangling in the water. And every morning, it wasn't long before one or two of us were fully submerged in the pool. We ordered groceries online and had them delivered the afternoon we arrived, and it was awesome! We didn't have to spend time at the grocery store, but we had food for our meals for the week. The only problem was alcohol. They wouldn't let us order alcohol other than beer. Good thing the liquor store isn't far. The kitchen is fully stocked and served all of our cooking needs. The location of this little house is the best!!! It is a half block from the middle of Duvall Street!! Location, location, location! We were walking distance from everything! It was fantastic! We all agreed that if we return to Key West, we would love to stay here again!!

Great Location and Great for Couples

Property was very clean. We had 3 couples. It was perfect for us. We all had our own bedroom with a bathroom. We all felt right at home. 2 minute walk to Duval Street, 15 minute walk to Southern Most Point Buoy. Excellent location. Loved the pool. The rental company checked in daily to see if we needed anything. Overall a great experience. Would rent again.

Secluded Paradise

Hidden in the heart of Key West was this great property which worked out perfect for a group of 6. More than enough space and bathrooms for everyone, a great common area, amazing pool and outside area to hang out in, and the perfect location only a block from Duval and all that it has to offer. It made navigating Key West very easy and walkable. The property management made the process very easy of checking in and out, their communication from the time of booking until leaving was fantastic, and the amenities were great. It was more than we all expected! Would definitely stay here again.

Great way to experience Key West!

The property was spacious, has a well stocked kitchen and enjoyable pool, was in a nice condition, appears as advertiser, and is in a great location (walking to the hot spots is easy but also just far enough off the beaten path to not hear Duvall St noise). Key West Vacation Rentals provided support before and during our stay.
