Liked it so much, we extended the stay

The house is just perfect with great amenities. Lisa and John are wonderful hosts. The kitchen is one I would have in a future house. It also includes a distant but striking view of Mt. Rushmore from the deck.The house is an amazing point for ventures to Mt. Rushmore, the national parks, Badlands and Deadwood . Would highly recommend a stay

Black hills vacation

Fabulous place to stay…back deck is amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and Lisa and Mike were great hosts. We would definitely book this again.

Beautiful place in the Black Hills

Beautiful unique lodging with a view of Mt. Rushmore through the pine trees. Centrally located to several of the activities and parks in the area. The hosts were very gracious and helpful. Will stay there again if we are in the area.

Incredible Black Hills Cabin

My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon in the Black Hills, and we couldn't have picked a better spot to stay. We had an incredible time in this beautiful and peaceful cabin that's nestled high up amongst the pines of the Black Hills. Our hosts were amazing and so hospitable. Couldn't recommend enough!

Simply Breath Taking!!

Stunning View of Mt. Rushmore and Breath Taking Sunrise/Sunsets! Oh How I miss it! The Property and Home were Spectacular. So Clean and so beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable - slept like a log. Shower fantastic - great pressure! Kitchen fully stocked with all appliances, coffee bar and even water filtration system. Easy drive and access to main road and very close to Mt. Rushmore and all other towns. Location can not be beat. Owners were so kind and accommodating. I mean could you ask for anything more? Thank you!!! One of the Best Places we have Ever Stayed.

If you want a quiet, peaceful place to come back to after exploring the Black Hills this is the place for you. Lisa and Mike are the perfect hosts. They thought of everything you may need. The view from the deck is spectacular and although they live right next door you still feel like you are alone.

Always a wonderful time

This is the fifth time we visited Mike & Lisa’s rental, and every time has been better than the previous, which is impressive as all of our visits have been fantastic. The cabin is unparalleled as is the hospitality and they have their own wonderful greeter in their cat, Okie.The space is very comfortable and clean, and has all the amenities one could hope for. Since our first visit in 2022 we’ve made it a pilgrimage at least annually. You will not find better hosts. They’re awesome!

My husband and I absolutely loved everything about our stay at this property. The owners are wonderful people, their property is gorgeous, the house is clean and comfortable, and the views are stunning. It is far enough away from town that it’s peaceful, yet just close enough to Keystone, other area towns/cities, and area landmarks and travel attractions, allowing for the perfect mix of relaxing, shopping, entertainment, being outdoors, etc. Again, I will emphasize, the owners of this property are fabulous! Which makes this location all the more perfect. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great get away in the Black Hills!

Lisa and Mike were so friendly, made us feel right at home. This home was well stocked with anything you would need. Too many extra nice things and attention to detail to mention from the personal gifts Lisa left for us to the heated bathroom floor tiles that she turned on for us before we arrived. Phenomenal

The trip was a last minute get away with my boys. Literally a day before we decided to hop in the car and drive out to South Dakota from Illinois to see the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, and the Wind Cave National Park. We chose this property do the the view of Mt. Rushmore off the back deck as well as the modern look on the inside We made the trip at the right time as there were very few tourists and the weather was low 70s everyday. We hiked up Black Elk Peak after visiting Mt. Rushmore. The scenery is breath taking. The owners were very nice and helpful. I am so glad we made the trip.

Beautiful Place

Beautiful rental in the Black Hills. Well supplied with everything you might need. Central location to everything we wanted to see and do. Mike and Lisa were very nice and accommodating. They allowed us to hike on their property. Offered us eggs from their sweet chickens. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back there again!
